what will happen if LRC bits flips during transmission Then receiver receives wrong LRC and it will reject that data packet? because when actual data can be corrupt during transmission then why not LRC bits?

@@zodziusavas you know there was a time when my father passed away... I was in 6th class and my exams was very near .. my family was very disturbed and we were financially unbalanced.. then landlord's young girl started teaching me for free .. she was so dedicated towards my studies that sometimes she used to teach me for 5 to 6 hours a day .....she taught me for a year and a half without taking a single penny.... And trust me... the day my family leave that house I could never find ever in the world any teacher like her no matter how much money I paid to them ... Sometimes Good people are not for sale 😊

Sir, I don't know what is your qualification and where from u ve learnt, by seeing all ur lectures I can say only one thing.. This is the best series on computer network all over offline and online networks... I would like to know how many lectures are still required to complete datalink layer and move to network layer... There is wrong information in this particular video Check the performance of LRC and match it with the table it says two bits in same position of another row There must need to be row parity and a column parity but he does only the column parity

In case of 2d parity check we calculate the parity bits along both the rows and columns

Receiver receives lrc and data Reveiver keeps aside sender lrc ,takes only data and calculate lrc then it matches sender and receiver lrc If matched no error
