How to derestrict longjia lj50qt-3l - I take no responsibility to any damage, warranty issues or legal issues you may encounter. I use this off road so am not breaking any laws.

No laws on derestricting mopeds as long as they have not been modified! If your modifying ie adding new carb, exhaust etc then your insurance is void. To do the job properly you have to remove the spacer on the belt drive. This will allow the belt to ride higher up the pulley giving you the full capacity of the engine.

I've got the same bike but cdi is under the seat I've pulled the wire u are showing but I'm still restricted to 27mph any other suggestions on what else could be restricted?

You reckon if i serviced my scooter with this wire unplugged (considering i dont have a motorbike licence) they would care?

So with the cable i go 25 if i dissconect how fast will i go?

This 28-31 mph restricted speed law only applies for 16 year old chavs who ride 50cc scooter/mopeds, but over 17 get them derestricted the cops won't bother you this silly law isn't in forced for over 17s or sell it get 125 scoot.

Hi I have a Longjia that I use only for road use I have never let it run out of oil or fuel and it has always mostly been under cover also I am the only person that rides it however it is now unsafe to ride the motor cuts out for no reason at random times and it wont start at random times where I live there is no auto electrician or anyone that wants to touch it. Its been a awesome scooter with great fuel consumption and great speed. PLEASE !! Can anyone offer any suggestions ? This is my only transport Im 66 years old at present I have taken all the panels off to see if there is loose wires or anything - I have replaced the battery

On my lonjia there's a missing cable where the 4 slots are so now there's 3 but the black and yellow cable is still attached if I chop it would it affect the other wires

These scooters are supposed to be just under a grand new. Would you recommend one or are the japanese & italian scooters still the way to go ?

HitchHikersBlues I paid £500 brand new, gave me 3 years trouble free, just sold it for £225. Madness!

ejx Block I paid £550 ($700) it was a great little bike, did the trick to get around on. It’s good on gas, 100 miles out of a tank which cost £4 to fill up!

is this ok to do before you have run the bike in, or do these not really need to be broken in? my longjia 50cc only has 84 miles on the clock and id love to get a bit more top speed out of it, its soo slow :(

You are supposed to run it in but I didn't....! Once I had done around 500 miles I was getting 40mph!

thanks buddy, im around 700km now, and with a tail wind im getting 49mph :) i can live with that till i get a honda msx grom 125 or a honda pcx 125, for the money this bike is awesome and has not let me down for work once

tbh i dont know how any one can do half throttle on a 50cc, its not a safe speed to go

30 mph restricted speed limit is so dangerous on today's roads this law needs to be abolished as 50cc scooters,mopeds are hazards as same as cycles for traffic and are so slow ,can't keep up with traffic.
