Guys, I want to shed some light on these reporters we see on channels such as NLTV, Hornbill TV, GW, etc. Most of them do not have a background in journalism/mass communication. They are usually graduates or post-graduates majoring in other subjects/courses. You cannot expect them to have journalistic traits and ethics, unlike those who have taken up journalism/M.Comm during their college days. So, cut them some slack. I'm sure most of them are learning on the job and trying their best. Those with journalism degrees are working outside the state for big news companies and earning big time. The ones you see on our local news channels are usually ones without journalism degrees/backgrounds. So, please be kind to them if possible. Always complaining about them from the comfort of your bed is also not good. At least they are bringing us daily updates from the state, albeit they might not have the best accent/language. God bless Nagaland! 🫶

I held conflicting sentiments regarding whether he was genuinely demonstrating how his ancestors lived their lives or merely attempting to make some money by attracting attention through his attire and sharing his personal predicaments in hopes of receiving some bucks from tourists, continuously emphasizing his difficulties. It seemed as though he had meticulously anticipated and manipulated each question to elicit personal requests for financial assistance. The only phrase missing from his entire repertoire of begging tactics was a direct plea for monetary donations.
