By saying he doesn't have to hire goons he'd rather try to buy the moon and breathe freely does make sense. Royce had hot bars, and yes, not much wordplay but Em went crazy with the bars, flows, and wordplay. xD Tech 9/Sub Machine gun line, better have arms if your gonna pull up line, battery line, eye lost/fetty wap xD. He switched up the beat in the midst of the alien flows he had with the 808's and got these alien sounds ringing in and out during the verse when he starts going crazy, dude said people need Ja memories jarred like strawberry or pineapple apricot jelly. I KNOW!! People are saying that Logic's verse and some even say Drake's verse was better than Cole's but I say the order of heat of verses goes 1. Em, 2. Joyner, 3. Cole, 4. Logic and then, 5. Drake. But sometimes on this track I like Cole's verse better than Joyner's because I have listened to Joyner's remix of this song already and it is nice to listen to a new adaptation (Cole's verse on this track). So really 2 and 3 are really interchangeable depending on my mood that day.
