All the colors made me smile! I learned to crochet when I was five years old. When I was a teenager over the summers I would crochet afghans for my aunt to take to work and sell. ❤️

That's a pretty neat idea. I think I would keep all the bright different rainbow colors 2gether in 1 project(& keep adding 2 it w/more like/similar colors of each spectrum,maybe 4 an Afghan),then take & keep adding 2 all the natural/earth tones(if that's what their called),like browns, greys,blacks,& whites,& use them in a separate project like pillows or totes 2...In fact those are the only 1s I would be able 2 make at the moment,since all my colorful yarn is in use or already have plans 4,lol...

I'm making a cotton blanket in coral pink and daisies for my new niece ❤ I've finished all the squares, and now it's just securing the yarn tails, connecting the pieces and adding a border! Finally, washing and blocking before it gets delivered. Can I please ask what yarn (brand and fibre) are you using for the squares in this video? Gorgeous colours! I have dismal choices where I am, so I might have to start purchasing online sight unseen. So tried and tested recommendations welcomed ❤

Your blanket sounds so beautiful! What a special gift that will be for your new niece 💖 Thanks for sharing your progress. I used 24/7 Cotton for these granny squares - it’s a 100% mercerized cotton that has beautiful color selection. It’s my favorite yarn to use for crochet bags!
