I love Jurassic Park and all but it's a shame that 25 years later and still almost everything dinosaur related has to make some reference to it. There are so many spitting, frilled dilos, 6ft Velociraptors and even blatant shoutouts in articles and documentaries. Great movie but can we please stop referencing it.

+Godzilla Jude While Shakespeare is art it ain't science like paleontology. Jurassic Park helped shape paleontology and, while a great movie(my favorite in fact), it has remained a biased agency difficult to separate from the profession.

Terry Zillasaurus The lower jaw on both Tyrannosaurs is ridiculous, its just as deep at the front of the lower jaw as the bk, in reality the bk of the jaw was as deep as its skull, not good for 2018 & too much of all dinosaurs from Jurassic Park which were about as real as Chickens teeth!

Oooohhh how exciting! Probably going to try get my hands on the frilled dilophosaurus, the green tyrannosaurus and the monocolour Carnotaurus :D Having that trio will perfectly represent some of my favourite babies

I think the last one is meant to. It's meant to be a custom Hollywood style design not a realistic one like the others.

If any animal looked like that, they would be unable to walk. S.populator was muscular, but not unnatural, steroid-esque muscular.

The smilodon fatalis is the best one in my opinion, both variants look better than any of the dinosaurs. Must say though that the thrilled Dilo comes very close to my favourite as well...

Ah sideshow. I remember like 2 years ago I paid for a Trex which looked bloody awesome and it was huge but they didn't ship after 5 months so I ended up getting a refund. Maybe one day I'll go back and get it

If you haven’t, you should check out rebor dinosaur models. They look really nice and are full models along with some Jurassic Park looks to them. Especially the raptors

I bought my first Sideshow model from them and I am damned impressed(I had bought Toothless from HTTYD). My only bitch and worry is that it doesn't sit properly on its pedestal. But it seems fairly stable. I may def consider purchasing another model from them in the future. Dinosaur, Transformer, I dunno, depends on what catches my attention.

When you ordered from Sideshow's official site, did you have to pay customs duty, and if so how much, please? Want to get one of those awesomeeee Dilophosaurus busts, and maybe even one of the Styracosauruses (the greenish one). From both T-Rexes I actually prefer the brown one, seems like the detail pops out better on that one because of the brown color. I just whish it had the wet looking fauna around it the dark one has. As you said, it kinda adds more to the model.

I’m sorry but these look plain stupid. The modeling itself looks amazing don’t get me wrong, but why is it only the heads of the dinosaurs? It looks like you hunted it and now it’s a trophy. It would look better with the full body.

It's a bust, I don't know, it's a very very very common thing for collectors of models. It lets you get in a lot of detail that - if you wanted to match in a full body - would require a huge model. I've got quite a few Sideshow dinosaurs, all full body ones, I like the idea of a bust.
