I love how the riff doesn’t follow, IMO, traditional bass riff patterns where there is one pattern the bass plays per segment of a song. The bass is given its own independent lines, similar to the guitars, but has multiple sections that play to the music as opposed to a single idea. When mixed with guitars, you have a completely unique sound just due to how diverse the tones can become.
