I am homeschool shopping for my 2nd 3rd and 5th grader and I'm so confused cause some people like one specific curriculum others like something totally different. I needed to watch this to give me some help to chose what to buy. Great video!

I understand the curriculum decision overwhelm. It is tough! I would say take each review (even mine) with a grain of salt. What works for one family (or child) doesn’t work for another. but I do find that if a review resonates with me, I feel more confident in choosing the particular curriculum. Good luck! @@ourlittlepath thank you so much! I'm sure those things you mentioned are true, I find it hard cause I haven't been using any of these books, like SJS, MoDG, CHC, etc. I have to get going asap so my kids don't have to wait too long while they finish their summer books. Thanks for your support!

Thank you for the flip through! I also use CHC for my kids pre K and 2nd grade about to jump to 3rd. Do you still use CHC or have you looked at Seton? I like how easy CHC is to use but think maybe for the older grades I might want to supplement history or so.

We use bits and pieces from CHC still. I have found my kids benefit from blending our own group of curricula. We utilized different topics from multiple curriculum companies now. I think Seton is great for those that want something laid out for them and have the stream line of “telling” you which curricula to use. For us, it isn’t that simple. So we find what works for each kid instead. If you look at my 2022/2023 curriculum videos you will see where we pull from. And my 23/24 will be up in March 😊

@@ourlittlepath I worry I might be trying to do too much by jumping around is all. So far just doing all from one place (in this case CHC) seems to be okay if a little too easy academically. I also just had a baby (just the one though, 😆) and I like that I can just open the planner and know where we need to be.

@@caroblue7988 that’s the beauty of homeschool! Do what works best for you 💜 plenty of my friends are signed up with MODG and Seton. If things are working, stick with it! And if it isn’t, maybe just find a replacement for that one subject.
