I don't mean to seem like some sort of fanboy or starf••ker, but for that handful who may be as nerdy as I am about both movies and falconry and don't already know, Tony Huston was born into something like Hollywood royalty (and is an Oscar nominated screenwriter) and married into actual British aristocracy. The dude could have *pretty much* any sort of career or lifestyle he chooses. And his choice it seems is to live fairly modestly and pursue his passion for falconry and what appears to be a deep and poetic love of nature. I'm filled with admiration.

This is a great BEAUTIFUL film....I was so happy to have been a huge part of it with Kenny for 12+years hanging along as friends and then together 12+ years, traveling, helping raise babies, caring for, never ending grinding food. Thankful for being part of these majestic , raising food for them and being a part of it all. A huge part of it all. Thank you Matthew. and Tony.. it was an experience

Thanks for sharing this video. The way you filmed it was awesome and sort of real breathtaking falconry trip. I enjoyed watching it from start to end late at night local time. This habit of sharing falconry and joining others in hunting trips with falcons is normal everywhere in the world. In fact, the best of all times is when you all tease each other of what your falcons has done during the day when you gather around camp fire. Thanks again and appreciation from Saudi Arabia

to start flying again after my move to Alaska. I want to thank you again for such an in depth account of your trip into Montana flying grouse. I have a very good friend by the name of Dave Cherry that went to Wyoming last fall flying his gyr/peregrine hybrids. This stuff really gets into your blood but why not, It's a way of life and really, only us falconers realize just what that means. Thank you again. Hope you continue to post these excursions. They are very much appreciated!

I greatly enjoyed this video and the explanation of the dedication that is required and invested in order to participate in the sport. I too am from the "Old School" and employ many of the original methods in manning and training. However, I do see the utility in adopting some of the newer innovations such as kiting or balooning. I definitely does facilitate training a bird to mount up at a much higher pitch. I will be moving from So.Cal in April to Alaska where I'll be flying long wings and am

THAT WAS TTTOOOOTTTTTAAAALLLLLYYYYY AWESOME!!!!! at 58:0 when that bird put the smack down on that grouse, man if that wouldn't crank you up, then your DEAD! And flying both birds in a cast with no crabbing...Too cool. I know that many Harris's fly in casts or even more but long wings, that's classic falconry. Were those birds nest mates? They look like carbon copies of one another. I want you to know that I totally enjoyed this video and it really raises your blood pressure! I can't wait

That take down at the 58 min mark is amazing. The video as a whole didn't connect with me though I think falconry is amazing. I did however love that little highlight. worth the whole movie for that moment.
