Good afternoon Taco. I'm not being sarcastic this is a genuine suggestion. Since probably either configuration of your garden will work, why don't you flip a coin and then stick to whichever color/size your coin says you should get. Then buy the plants that will fit.

The shimano handle gear switchers are junk they brake a lot. They use to make them as lever shifters they in my opinion were a lot better.

A Huffy bike gets too far gone and its not worth the effort or expense if you have to pay shop rates. It won't take much fixing to get to the price of a new Huffy. Bikes with 24 inch wheels are least popular size in my experience, kids out grow them pretty fast. I sold maybe half a dozen, tops in the years I been fixing and flipping street find bikes.
