I love the floral vase and your decor trays are always adorable. I used to sew most of my clothes in high school and college. Now as an older person I am revisiting that skill set and teaching myself to quilt. I started piecing a large throw quilt for my daughter the past couple of weeks. I am almost 25% done piecing the quilt top. I will probably send it to a longarmer for the quilting process since I only have a domestic sewing machine currently. I am happy with how my blocks are looking so far. 😊

I love the dowel covered vase! I have a large one sitting on my mantel and it just looks so plain. I also have lots of dowels so I guess I better get busy updating my vase. TFS such great ideas. I have been spending time this month making patriotic decor.

Cute candle holder with the dowels and flowers. Nice gift idea with the tray and lemons and sign. Love the touch of baseballs in the jar. I have not flipped it yet, but I did purchase a 3-drawer dresser from the thrift store. I have only cleaned it, but excited to sand and refinish it. Have an awesome week and weekend.

Love these & can't even pick a favorite. I'm a lemon fanatic of sorts so there's that but I LOVE patriotic decor so there's that but I also adore the little vase with dowels...etc. You get my drift. I have been working on decorations (signs, florals, pictures, etc) for my granddaughter's engagement party. Even though it isn't until the 1st week of October, she has a list for me about a mile long 🙃. Because, you know, Mamaw's can do anything & make everything better 💕💕💕 (love that baby & her mentality). Although, not true in my case, I still love her belief in me 🥰.

Hey there. My cousin got a BIG sublimation printer and gave me her converted echotank. The project im most proud of was i got the printer nozzles unclogged and working all on my own. But im most excited about making s7blimation mugs, beer can glasses, wind spinners etc

They are all my favorite! I'm making the vase and a version of the lemonade tray. My daughter buys flowers all the time, but she uses a Starbucks cup. I was over there and said, ummm, do you need a vase? LOL

What have i been up to? Gosh that’s a great question.. So, like I have started a new “All Things Western” boutique, inspired by my daughter and here love for horses. Wow what a journey this has been! I have using my Cricut machines and making all kind of goodies. From Tshirts, hoodies, and tote bags. Also been making some jewelry along with other goodies! Gosh it’s been whirlwind of excitement since launching my online shop in February this year. I have a small booth inside a store front in my city I live in and things have been going well so far. But I have to start out small to make that dream come true ! That’s what I have been up to so far !

My current project is I took my exterior door off & stripped many many many, did I say many 🤔, layers of paint off of it. This weekend I hope to stain & urethane it to coordinate with my front door that I had replaced a few years back 🙏🏼🤞🏼 😂😂 I repainted my side porch a couple weeks ago & after the door is done I plan on redoing all the trim around the exterior of my windows. Let the fun continue 🙄😂

It is air dry, so it is lighter when it hardens. The stems of the flowers also play a part in holding it up.

Courtney, how about some of you crafters doing more difficult crafts? Items we can truly be proud of and possibly have a use? I know many folks like quick and easy but maybe they've never tapped into their talent! Just a suggestion. I never knew I could paint until I set some fruit in front of me and REALLY saw how the light hit it. I was able to sell the items I created, and it led to more extravagant innovations! Painted furniture, clothing, dishware. I learned to make window treatments from watching HGTV. Christopher Lowell was a huge influence. It continues going on to this day. Oh, before bird houses were a thing, I used my little saw and miter box and created the coolest bird houses making picket fenceswith popsicle sticks, stones with painted blobs od glue(could have use real one in hindsight) shingled roofs with bark mulch or plaster. Sometimes just painting them with fleur-de-lis and gold leaf to match other items for indoor decor...Anyway, DT wasn't around when I started and I'm glad. My creativity came from within... I DO love many quick ideas but something not so easy might be the challenge some folks crave❤❤❤... I think all of these crafts are adorable, and I am not at all being critical, only some suggestions... your work is quite clever!
