due to me being a very introverted and logistical person, (and having autism ofc) I never really learned how to interact with people. Thus the song to me is about the internal struggle of wanting to be alone and by yourself (look who's inside again...), and wanting to spend time with people instead of spending it with what I wanted to do by myself. (you'll do any old shit to get out of it, try making faces, try making jokes...) And then the conclusion, "come out with your hands up we've got you surrounded", represents how family/parents will force me way far out of my comfort zone when making me do stuff with them. i actually have no clue what this video could be about because it doesn't relate to the song at all.
