The mob protected the golden goose. The tourists. Casinos and Metro couldn't care less about petty crimes against tourists.

My aunt moved from Chattanooga to Las Vegas in 1975 as her son-in-law was stationed at Nellis AFB as a pilot. Her daughter became a high school teacher at Bishop Gorman and while my cousin’s husband worked as a pilot for Southwest Airlines from 1984-2006. He was in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1984. He retired as a Captain. My aunt lives in Idaho and will be 100 in May. My cousin and her husband both turned 76 in December (She was born on the 1st and he was born on the 24th. They were both born in 1945)
