In the comic Negan beat Ricks ass *after* his throat was slit. He held his throat together with one hand and beat ricks ass.

I loved Shane. He’s like Negan. He has his reasons and he was ahead of the curve. Later in the show Rick has become Shane. I like to think that the group drove Shane crazy.

I genuinely believe Shane would’ve joined the saviors had he been alive. I know that’s something I’ve seen others say also, but he very much had the same mindset as Negan.

After season 9 I couldn’t get onboard with what was on the screen, but of course I’m watching to the end, but they’ve squandered and watered down everything with too many useless dont-care characters, and neutered Negan too much. We aren’t allowed to have strong males in cinema now. At the end of each final episode I am furious and disappointed.
