Im also a LN reader the anime was not that bad it could have been better but it was was not bad overall

The parts that actually focus on the spider and her story were all peak even with animation budget limitations I rewatch this anime a bunch and just skip the human bits except for the ones where they show interactions with her

I'm a LN reader and story is adapted very well. sure sometimes the monster cgi is bad but that's not enough to ruin the show. also you used some trailers footage from 2019 that's disingenuous even if its not much better now. Timeline reveal was done well imho. Pacing is great for anime format, most anime watchers think its to slow not to fast. You brought up the webbing and i think you were comparing it to C** like really? are you that immature? This video is very lazy like really 40 seconds wtf? As LN reader you should know how hard the source is to adapt to a anime format think about it for 5 seconds using all 2 of your brain cells and you can figure a show about a MC who doesn't interact with another person for several episodes, is a cave for several episodes with monsters (way harder to animate than humans) and the pacing of the LN would not be easy for any studio to pull off. By all means this anime isn't perfect I have some issues with it too, but i can see the intent behind some of the decisions. If you at least put some thought into your review, analyzed the issues and offered realistic solutions i would have respected your opinion and not disliked the video.
