Know the history behind it , how it got the trident , how the trident are in the wheels and can be seen in other parts. It's just cool little gimmics . I think being enthusiastic about the thing you are selling will defo come across. The engine is still one of the best sounding. The tires do burn out quickly even with calibration but that's to be expected from a 2tone car. Its also how you drive it. I think for showing off, driving in style maserati is the one at a fraction of the cost of a ferrari . In terms of bad experiences from sales .... I wanted to buy an audi r8 . I got at the dealership and was told that was issue with my booking and that car is not available. Wasted my time and I went there with intent to buy so they lost my business. Another time I found out the dealership miss represented the information online vs when I got there. On the website it said 1 owners. When I got there to sign the papers it was 5+ owners. I walked out. I guess logistics issue but to me flags . Hope this helps

I have a grandturmiso sport 2010. I’m scared to daily drive mine. I drive about 5K miles per year, what is your maintenance cost? I only had recent oil changed, and a small evaporation leak which cost about $450. Currently I am heavily investing in stock. I’m thinking about selling the car and using it for a down payment on a real estate investment which should gross about $10K per month.

@@martinrodriguez7859 These cars don't like to sit, so if you keep it, drive it way more than 5k a year. They are actually better vehicles when you drive them regularly. I do about 20k to 25k a year on mine!

@@harrygreen9548 i would definitely suggest test driving one. The GT is a completely different experience from the ghibli. The GT though is a fantastic car and super easy to drive but obviously compared to other cars out there, it cant take corners that quickly

I've made several videos about this but just to share come key points: - Coolant hose located behind the engine goes out which is $1000 to fix - Servicing your car at the dealership can cost up to $1500 whereas doing it yourself can cost about $500 - This thing eats tires - Coolant reservoir tends to crack with some GTs and needs to be replaced - wheel bearings go out (depending how hard the car was driven before) Other than that, there isn't too much else. I've had two GTs and both were pretty solid. The first one only had the coolant hose leak issue. The second one had a lot more issues but I knew those going in since the car was treated poorly beforehand

Thanks for the information. I am wondering now about how many miles on a set of tires? Also did you get the camber offset changed to 0 or close to it. I do change or work on all of my vehicles. The basics oil change, filters, rotate tires, grease fittings and if need be pack bearings. Do you also think that the mc version is better maintenance wise?

@@terrypetersen4039 The first one I bought ate the tires because of the camber but with this one I made sure it was close to 0 as possible. With the first GT I got around 20k miles and with this one, when I hit 20k I still had plenty of tread left over. Really depends how you drive and how the camber is set. In regards to maintenance, I think the MC is better because you don't have to deal with the Skyhook suspension if it were to go bad on the regular GT

Congrats on your new GT! It's an amazing car and from what I've seen they don't have too many issues with them. I miss mine a lot and I had way less maintenance problems than the 2010 BMW M3 I had which also had a V8.

Glad to help! It really depends on how much you drive it, how well the owner before you took care of it, where the car is from, and what work has already been done to the car. If there's no problems with those 4, you should be good to go. I'm roughly 5'8 and I have a good amount of head room. Anyone 6 feet though might have a rough time so definitely test drive one out first before you make a commitment

That's a pretty good deal if it is clean. Definitely get a full inspection at a shop that isnt related to the dealer and knows how to handle exotics cars. If everything checks out and if similar cars on the market are more then by all means get it if that's what you want!

Both have valves exhausts, that are closed in normal and open in sport mode. The mc stradale should be louder in both modes

from my experience the MCs are typically slightly louder but at the end of the day they're pretty much the same car with just a different look. If you were to find a TRUE MC Stradale though (never delivered to the US) then you'll for sure be able to tell the difference

thanks brotha! One of my friends is an audi tech and I've asked him about the R8. The R8s are a hit or miss, if you have problems with it, it'll be really expensive to fix. Best to stay away unless you have the money to fix it. Preferably go for the V10 and a get the manual for less issues. The jags have a lot of issues as well. NormalSupercarGuy has one he rented out for turo and it has only experienced problems from what I saw. The GT is probably the one you'll experience less issues with (trying not to be bias here). The issues in my opinion are easier to handle even if they might be pricey. Compared to the other two though, you're less likely to have issues unless you drive it on the daily like me and you got a real lemon

Granturismo s the best

Vincent V cayman and 911 awesome cars but do not get the looks of the Granturismo. The sound and looks are intoxicating. Such a wonderful car

At the dealer that's about $1500 for minor maintenance and $2500 major, minor on year 1, major on year 2. If you do the maintenance yourself an oil change is about 150 for parts, some other parts are harder to source outside of the dealer. Brakes are 2/3k at least at the dealer.

The car is pretty reliable as I've had two and would definitely get a 3rd. The issue with this black one was due to the neglect from the previous owner. For the first MC I had, there was a coolant hose that broke but other than that, it was all your typical maintenance. If you know what to look for it's pretty easy to spot whether or not the one you're getting is good or bad. I would personally not touch anything older than 2012

You're totally right about that. The ghibili is just such a weird car nor does it hold its value very well. They should of just massively updated the GT ages ago. They barely started doing it now but it's too late

definitely breaking necks when I go by. Mostly the reactions have been pretty positive. A few thumbs up here and there while people from afar just look. I did back a video back in the day where i purposely acted like a douche so I did get some snares here and there but most of the time people just love how the car looks and sounds.

I daily drive my car and last year I drove it about 100 miles a day crazy enough and I had 0 issues. However, just recently I had to replace a wheel bearing but that's due to the age of the car and the neglect that the first owner did. I get all my parts from scuderiaparts or just look on ebay if they happen to be cheaper. In my area, there are quite a few exotic mechanics so servicing can be fairly cheap compared to doing it at a dealership.

@@dvss7459 if you're looking to buy one, I would ask a shop that specializes in exotics to do a PPI (pre purchase inspection) so that going in, you'll know exactly what's wrong with the car. They can go to the dealer or you can have the dealer bring the car to them. For a shop, I used to take my car to Gi Automotive but they have since shut down.

this one is a 2012 but I'd recommend getting a 2013 instead. Less problems!

If you have good relations with a shop that specializes in Italian cars it should be reasonable. I did some of the servicing myself too so my maintenance was relatively cheap for the maserati compared to other people

it's a bit tight not going to lie but still comfortable enough for fairly long journeys if you have to be there

that's a tough choice indeed. You can't really go wrong either way as both have their pros and cons. I might go with the vette since it's cheaper to maintain and there's a lot of things you can do with the car in terms of mods. Also, you probably wont feel as bad to drive it everyday. The older Maseratis are uncharted territory for me so I can't strongly recommend them

The problem with the older Maseratis are the valve variators. Search it up and read about it, it causes a dry and rattling start, not good for the engine. If you wish to own cheaper Maserati Granturismo 🔱, plan to have that job completed. Then it would be well worth. If you wish the newer look front bumper, just install a newer one. For the price you can haggle a 08, it will leave you with tons of upgrades options. The only drawback now that the engine would be a 4.2L and not the latest 4.7L with about 450HPs. Corvette a total bargain and easy to upgrade, yet, only two seats.

Yes and no. Yes because it's a car that is relatively easy to drive, has supercar looks, has an amazing sound, the 2013-2016s are pretty reliable, and it's actually pretty comfortable. No because if you have this as your first car, you won't be able to enjoy all the other cheaper cars that are out there. But then again you still have a lot of other cars that are much more expensive that you can look forward to lol

I was in the same mindset wanting the fastest and coolest car I could for the money but trust me once you start driving you dont want something like this. In the end I got a 2020 a class which is great but even still I worry about crashing it. If you have the same kind of budget as I did, just get something small and new like an a class or a 1 series. Dont go for this.

depends on where you drive it lol i live in pretty much the beverly hills of florida so it does a good job blending in with exotics but also standing out from the everyday Mercedes, bmw, or lexus

Especially when you put the exhaust in sport mode. In my hometown however, I'll get a good amount and people driving alongside give me thumbs up. I haven't had unwanted attention yet though.

Ya it's hit or miss with these things. My last one was super reliable while this one is experiencing a lot of issues. The servicing is pretty expensive too unless you know how to do it on your own.
