Hi I'm Wendy a resin artist and crafter.
In this video I am using fusible film to create Dichroic film that is so stunning and fun to make too.
Dichroic film is something I had been searching for, for many years and thanks to @daniel..cooper I now have the means to make it.

White background for the cobalt blue, definitely! I mean, I LOVE green, but when something says "blue" I wanna see BLUE...and that's such a gorgeous blue! 😍 The raspberry was perfect against the black, though. Need the black! The earrings are just gorgeous, Wendy; both the one piece and the mosaic ones! 😊💕

That stuff is so cool! I really love the raspberry, too! I think the cobalt blue looks better with the white background. It looks more blue. They all remind me of dragon skin. It would be cool to see them in some kind of a dragon mold.

I watch Shalina at Tea and Art channel. She turned me onto this stuff around a year ago. You are right, it is so fun! Ive used it to make coasters, jewelry and accents on my boxes I make. Even put it in frogs and lizard molds😊 Sometimes I crumple it up and sometimes just leave it flat the way it comes. There's so many options to get different effects. Have fun Wendy!!!

I think i know what you have planned and i've already attempted it and its such a fun technique to do. I actually added it to frog molds and everyone thought they were made with glass and dichromatic film.

For sharing this video, I too fell in love with the dichroic film Daniel showed on his channel, but to get that paper was costing more in P&P than the stuff itself because of coming from the US, but since you enlightened me to look for fusible film, well let’s just say some is on its way to me 🤣🤣 I found another company that’s different to the 2 you mentioned, so thanks again !, I’m so excited for it to arrive now,

I have some of these films from Little Windows, but I'm still on a search for heavy gauge cellophane in bigger sizes to try. But I did find 4" x10ft drills of Angelina film on Amazon US, for a very good price. They come in 19 colors. I plan on ordering all 19.

Beautiful, I have the Angelina Fibres that work much the same but in fibre form but never tried them in resin, must try soon

HI Wendy, the film is gorgeous I must try to get some foil, with a heat gun too, ive watched some of Daniel Coopers videos and he has some really interesting pieces, that I realy love. Including this project, I wonder how a domed puffy heart would look as it would seem to be more magnified.? STAY SAFE, TAKE CARE, STAY WELL AND STAY AWESOME, HAVE A GREAT WEEK END.

@@Toonpish It was just a thought, as I have some large heart moulds, ut not the puffy ones as I couldent get them, and the look so cool. So I did two hearts, one with amber color for uv resin, and holographic silver glitter,, and the other with black with silver holographic silver. And put them back to back for a reverseable pendent, so I think the foil would look stunning done this way. That's where the idea came up.🦋❤️🦋

Hi, Wendy. As I have been doing mixed media art for years this film has been a regular. You can also get Angelina fibres (Just this shredded I think) ,but they are fun to work with as well . Keep having fun with it😊😊

@@Toonpish 😀😀, the fibres are more fiddly, but as are also fusible are quite cool if you want something a bit thicker. Oh Love both backgrounds by the way.

Your pieces turned out gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what you do with the rest of them! I keep going to Amazon and looking at the fantasy film. I can’t seem to decide whether or not I want the sample pack with all of the colors or buy the longer lengths individually in just a few colors. I think I can get the blend that I want with just 3 or 4 colors, I’m just not sure what those colors are.😂 I definitely want to get some and start working with it tho. This is the second attempt at writing this comment.. the first time was in someone’s replies.😆 I’ve done that way too many times! I wish YT would have a ‘move to comments’ option, maybe there is a trick I don’t know about.😊 Thanks for another great video Wendy💜

😂😂 well I’m glad you found the right place 😀😀😀 It sounds to me that the sample pack would enable you to find the few colours you want 😀😀 I do have some purple, bought from a company that is no longer trading sadly. But I’m going to be using it soon 😀😀😀😀 You will find your own colour combination 💜🥰
