Love this video topic! Most of my collection is built around comforting scents. Woody green fragrances like Tam Dao really put me in a zen mood, and green floral fragrances like En Passant or Tommy Girl are so relaxing. When I've had a bad day, I actually put on those fragrances to bed lol!

Wow, you always have such an amazing selection in your lists! I've got some travel atomizers of a few of those and also think a lesser expensive list would be a winner. My favorite cozy scent is Armani Prive Ambre Eccentrico,

Benjoin Bohème, Grand Soir and Mandarina Corsica are my favs and cozy fragrances are my favorite style of fragrances. Love big florals with a hint of sweetness too, but that's another subject. ❤️

Added more for my wish list😂 Btw, I tested Benjoin Bohème because you spoke so highly of it. I got it last month, and love it so much. The SA in my local boutique said that not many people look for this in my country, and was surprised I mentioned this scent by name.

I wanted to tell you about a very cozy fragrance that really surprised me how much I love it. Your friend Dana spoke of it once on your resins video. Anyway it’s Oppoponax by Les Néréides! It is so dang good and it only costs about $60 on Ebay.. I believe I love their Patchouli Antique just as well, but I wouldn’t call that one as comforting- even though it is to me lol because patchouli takes me back to the’80’s when I wore the essential oil in highschool. Anyway, the Oppoponax fragrance is comforting in a similar way as Grand Soir.. And yes, a less expensive list sounds great!

Wow. Sebastian, I love this list! Of the fragrances I’ve smelled that you mention, I adore. I’m sure that almost all will be some of my future favorites. Several are on my wish list. But the one I want to really try is the Jovoy - Remember Me. Vanilla cardamom and tea - yum!

Most comfortable fragrance for me are Carner Barcelona El Born and Xerjoff Naxos, both honey heaven

I know it’s super cheap but cozy and comfortable to me is Brut. Good memories from when I was a kid. I use Brut soap and Brut splash on on those nights when I’m staying in.

Awesome list. I’m going to try some of the vanillas you mentioned as I’m currently in search for one. I tend to go for salty, oceanic, coconut scents when I seek comfort in fragrances. My memories of the beach, the Florida Keys and my late father are all tied to the beach, sand, sun, etc.

Chabaud lait De biscuit is my most comforting. Smells like cookies dipped in milk. And I'd love a cheapie list as well! Zara rich warm addictive with that honey/coconut is great, and Laurence Dumont has cafe tonka and tendre Madeleine that are both amazing for this kind of thing. And old navy/kindred good has a hazelnut and caramel scent which is amazing!!

Hello Sebastian, Have you tried Carthusia Terra Mia? It's italian coffee with a haselnut biscotti on the side. Confort absolu! Love halva... How about Héliotrope gingembre by Fragonard? It's niche and inexpensive. It's mostly ginger and heliotrope on a base of caramel. One of my favorite bedtime scent. Thank you for this great review. 😘

Loved the video! Theses are my favorite scents to wear and fall is the best time to wear them. Although, I do wear them throughout the year too! I was debating on getting salt caramel...I got a sample and fell in love but nobody around me seems to know why you would want to smell like caramelized popcorn, lol! Also love Lira, but is it really worth it? For that price I need it to last and project! Would love❤ to see a video with less expensive options too!

Grand Soir by MFK, on me its not too good, but on my husband…oh my! There will be a large bottle on its way for him, I think I’ll be keeping Gris Dior, but I think it’s sweeter on my husband, more cold smelling on me, but I think. I’d never discover how beautiful Gris Dior is if I didn’t try it on him before selling it.

I bought virgin island water for my husband but yes I wear it too sometimes. It's a great fragrance. Oh and Lira, ahhh it has me smelling like a lemon cookie and reminds me of fall because that's when I wear it most. Spirituese Double Vanille is another one of my favorites, very boozy vanilla, reminds me of cold fall and winter. Great list!!

Great overview. I ordered a sample of Mandarina Corsica after seeing one of your reviews. After blowing through the sample in a few days, I ordered a full bottle. Absolutely love it! I find it a little too heavy for me to wear in the dead of hot and humid midwest summers. However, our mornings and evenings are getting cooler so I'm starting to add it to my rotation. I see daily wear of this juice coming soon as Autumn hits.

Yes of course, interested in the designer edition of this video. I guess Caron's pour un Homme ought to show up there :) About nose getting burned out, today I was surprised with my own nose, entered a Douglas store and the store itself had some smell of course. I tested about seven fragrances there (all through a mask, but still they can be smelled from the paper strips,) then saw all the colorful new series of the Mugler colognes. I love the original Mugler Cologne and even own a 300 ml bottle, tested that one first, and to my surprise, I simply could not even smell it. As familiar as I am with Mugler Cologne, it was "invisible" to my nose under the smell of that store, and after what I had smelled there. So I did not even try the others, since such testing was going to be quite flawed for sure.

Oh yeah, cozy ones are great even if they are more for evenings and colder weather for me. Very cozy for me is I dian Sandalwood and White Musk. That Patch in Psychedelique is cozy for me as well. Would love to experience more of them but Amber can get very overwhelming on me.

Great list Sebastian! Personally I don’t find gourmand fragrances comforting at all because the yumminess distracts me if that makes sense. Would have loved to see more aromatics in the list esp tea, ginger, lavender, musky scents. 😊

Almond is my ultimate comforting scent. I’m currently looking for a great almond fragrance and see a lot of people recommending Hypnotic Poison. I have the edt, but the jasmine note on me comes out more prominent than the almond. I need to try Pegasus. The heliotrope smells very almondy to me, in combination with almonds it might keep the flower note from becoming jasmine overload. I’m hoping.

Love boozy notes in fragrances but “boozy” combined with the vanilla in Guerlain’s Spiritueuse Double Vanille is a bit overwhelming for me. Actually enjoy Guerlain’s Tonka Imperiale so much more.....it’s absolutely gorgeous, cozy, & comforting!👍🏻😊

Great list Sebastian!! I've only tried Pegasus and it is wonderful. Full bottle worthy....in the future!!😂🤣 I have too many on my "next purchase" list already. Lastly, Sebastian, have you tried Sunday Brunch by KIERIN NYC? I think it's super cozy with it's citrus and Earl grey tea notes. Very bright and happy smelling!!

For me "cozy" is something yummy, but not in your face strong. "Musc ravageur" is just annoyingly strong for me until drydown . I like my comforting fragrances to always be on the background but not in my face. "Remember Me" and "Immortelle" by Manos Gerakinis are the two that I love for home. Some soft vanillas as well, like if I want comfort I would pick "Sublime Vanille" by Creed over "Vanitas" by my favorite Profumum.

Have you ever reviewed House of Sillage Benevolence? I'd love to hear your review on this one. I've recently found House of Sillage and have purchased several of their fragrances. Really enjoying them.
