Literally, I’m a tiempo lover since I have memory. I even feel bad for buying for example the phantom, but bro, I can put my feet in the fvcking boot in tru to size. I’m not hating the non leather (I would wear it really) it’s the sizing. How can you make a tiempo fit like a mercurial¿

I have no idea. Nikes sizing is all over the place! Some boots I'm a 9 some I'm a 8.5!

I won’t defend the move away from leather but if you look at it as a new ctr 360 model, it makes it a bit more palatable.

Hmmm, I have the pearlized version of these and my first kick about in the rain sucked. I’ve enjoy them since but it does seem like this texture for 30th anniversary is bad in the rain. I have the gold pair of tens and it’s decent in the rain, but I have heard some colorways of the 10 aren’t great in the rain.

Yeah maybe I need to try a standard 10. Coz this boot I did not love....... at all!

@@Krissfootykicks ah no, the fit on those is the same, and it doesn’t sound like these fit you that well. I have a narrow foot, so the tens are a bit more agreeable for my feet. Maybe as you said try the Pro’s since everyone says they’re almost identical to the elites. I have also seen people say the academy’s are quite similar to the elites😅

@andrewpalmer1873 could of saved myself a fortune then! 🤣🤣They weren't uncomfortable or a poor fit, just couldn't trap a bag of cement! Or make a decent pass, just no feeling from them. 🤔

@@Krissfootykicks sounds like my experience with the puma kings. These synthetic leathers from the big companies just aren’t that good. The Japanese companies do a decent job though.

To each their own i guess. I own several pairs of Mizuno MIJ pairs and i have better touch and pass with the Tiempo 10 fg pros, which is much cheaper. I only wish it was more rigid and had a bit more aggressive studs. Durability has been awful though.

Wow that's interesting. Always led to believe the MIJ were god tier. Agreed though, every person is different, every player is different. Never going to work well with every boot. Mine are back in the box so don't need to worry about the durability now. 🙄

@@Krissfootykicks MIJ are surely god tier when it comes to quality, but that alone is not enough. E.g. other than Alphas, all the Mizunos have full conical studs which doesnt suit me on FG. Alpha on the other hand is too thin, which is again not my cup of tea. Rebula Cups had the potential to replace Tiempos for me, but shame they are discontinued. Alpha sole with Morelia 2/Tiempo upper would've been the dream boots for me.

@@khelgarironfist3301 Conical studs don’t bother me, happy to play in either. I always use an FG boot though. The Alphas i really would like to get on feet, they can’t be thinner than the X Crazyfast plus surely?? That is 100 percent a mad combo of boots right there.

@@Emperorminiatures not the thinnest boots sure, but must be the thinnest Mizunos. Theres just a tiny bit of padded feeling. Still too thin for my taste. I kept looking for a thick uniform upper boots with aggressive studs which is somehow a pretty rare combo to find.

Very true, my friend. As I say in the video, could of been having a bad game. But I still expect my boots to feel/perform to a certain level. These did neither.
