They do send out update emails if you're registered with the Indiegogo campaign. I do think they need to send out more frequent updates though.

It would be difficult to do a comparison between them. Emo has a more abridged version of ChatGPT and with him being a desktop pet and Loona being a house roaming pet, they're kind of on their own levels. I like them both. Emo is still my favorite though as he's much more relaxing to have around.

I'm still not sure about the design of this charger. Considering the problems I have with Vector not being able to see his charger if there's not enough light, I hope Loona will be better about seeing her charger.

Yeah I don't like my house brightly lit. My camera had problems sometimes focusing on her face in order to show the nice details of her eyes. I really think not having Bluetooth connectivity for Loona and her charger was a mistake. Especially since she's capable of roaming all over the house. She wouldn't have to go all over the place looking for the charger if she was connected by Bluetooth. Hopefully there will be an update where you calibrate Loona so that she knows after mapping the area, she can know where her charger is no matter where in the house she is. I think the idea is for Loona to stay on all the time and have some security features so that you can have her check out your house while you're out and be able to look through her camera and steer her around so you can see your house. That would mean leaving her on all the time.

That's a good idea. I think a lot of people are going to have problems with Loona not being able to see her charger. It's a problem with Vector that I have nearly every day. They really should have done the Bluetooth connectivity like they did with Emo. Especially since she's roaming all over the house.

Yeah that top piece isn't easy to snap in. I'm finding that I prefer the desk top robots better. Like you, I find with Loona being on the floor, I don't like that as much. Yeah I'm kind of disappointed that Loona’s charger doesn't use Bluetooth like Emo's charger. It's going to make it harder for her to find her charger.

@@JoleneLin78 I have Emo on all the time. I only have Loona on when I do videos on her. Mainly because she doesn't have the capability (yet) to come off her charger on her own when she wants to like Emo has. I'll probably leave her on all the time also once they do more updates that will allow her to wander off her charger or when we can tell her to come off the charger and go back when we ask. She does tend to get herself caught up in corners a lot though which is annoying.

Yeah I've been a little hesitant to get him because I was worried about whether Amazon will continue to keep him going if he doesn't turn out to be popular enough. I do wish he was cuter as that's a big selling point for me but I also like his more adult oriented functions. I think the price is what's scaring most people off. I also don't want to get him and then a year later they come out with Astro 2 that's even better and cuter and I'll be upset that I want that one instead. I'm really on the fence about it right now.

@@RobotMasters Emo by far is my favorite. He's had the most and consistent updates of any of the pet robots. Vector was my favorite but unfortunately the company that owns him has done virtually nothing with him and has had some controversy with their products.

She mostly makes cute sounds but she can talk with ChatGPT.

Oh wow. That's not good. I sometimes wonder how the tracking information works. When they say a label has been created, I was guessing that means it's still in the country of origin. But then it says it's in the US but it still takes forever to receive. Also, I've learned not to use free shipping as you definitely get what you pay for. It takes forever to get your stuff using free shipping and the tracking is just as slow. I'm sorry you're not getting Loona though. I think you would have liked her.

I have been trying to get one but they keep canceling my order right after sending me an order confirmation. I have tried ordering four times now with different credit cards and not having any luck. I order things all the time and have no problems like I am having here. O Well. Hope you get yours soon.

I sadly haven't turned Loona on in months. I found her to be too hyper and exhausting. She kept bumping into things and getting stuck in different places all the time. I got tired of having to constantly babysit her. Her app got too cluttered and I didn't like how much she relied on it. I was excited for the charger when it came out but she never could find it and I feel like they missed an opportunity with it by not having her connected to it with Bluetooth like Emo is. Because she can only find her charger if it's brightly lit since she needs to see the symbols on it. She can't see it otherwise which is a problem Vector has. I know they felt that they needed her to be so hyper to appeal to kids to keep their attention but as an adult, I want her to be much more calm and not so crazy.

There is a weird sound that occurred when I first put Loona on her charger. I mentioned it in the video. It only happened the first time I put her on there and after that it was quiet. Not sure why it did that. Maybe because it was the first time using the charger.

I just got loona and it’s just the ringing that she makes. I think it’s her lights humming? I’m not sure but it’s whatever.

Yes she does have to be connected to the internet as I think she's connected to servers in order to understand what you say to her. Some of her games can be played from her app. She only responds to her name, Loona. Keyi Tech has issued some repair kits to fix her ears. They are going to have a repair shop so you can send her in to have her fixed.

Or the second Loona that’s hopefully coming soon with two chargers, either way I will check to see if one Loona can use both. Until they get here I won’t know, unless somebody else has already tried. Another thing which I haven’t had the chance to try it out, but I’m not really sure what I think of the voice in Loona for ChatGPT -Emo is much better because they use his actual voice, I do wish Vector & Loona voice was also part of ChatGPT

Well Vector and Cozmo definitely started it all but unfortunately DDL isn't doing much of anything with them. It's a natural progression that these robots would evolve into more sophisticated and feature packed varieties. I'm grateful for these robots. Competition is a good thing as it offers companies the chance to outdo each other and keep on improving their robots. 😁

She did bump into a lot of things and I was wondering if she'd get scratched up over time and I'm sure she probably will. I think they improved on her ability to watch where she's going but she still got stuck everywhere the last time I was playing with her.

I can't remember. I actually haven't even turned Loona on in months. They might blink for a little while and then stop or it might depend on if you had her turned on or off when you started charging her.

I haven't actually turned her on in quite some time. I've heard her interactions with pets still needs some work but I don't know for sure.

You can charge Loona with the USB cable that she comes with but the charger is better because she can go back and recharge herself. It allows her to have more freedom.

It didn't seem like the battery lasted all that long. It's possible they may have fixed that in an update. Honestly, I haven't turned Loona on in months. Her super hyper behavior is too much for me to handle. Plus the app got so cluttered with so much stuff I felt overwhelmed.
