Mt.Yokoyamadake is a popular mountain placed in northern Shiga prefecture and listed on The 100 Famous Mountains In Kansai. It's well-known for several waterfalls and variety of alpine flowers, beautiful virgin beech forest and partly tough trail.

The hiking trail leads to the deep woods, so tranquil and lovely. The green and vibrant vegetation is so inviting. The waterfalls are splendid with its torrents of water. Lovely bird. What a fantastic hike! Like 23 Great thanks!

Such beautiful weather, peace, quiet, with the area is so green and lush with so many flowers I've never even heardd of let alone seen! and that water looks so clean and fresh, I just want to try some 😅 I truly hope I get to visit and explore Japan soon
