Noice demo, mate. 🔦👏🏼 What floody flashlight beam shots in wide open spaces cannot show is that their center hot spot can't illuminate the end of that dark, long back alley. Maxing it out on turbo results in a lot of spill reflecting back at you and all those photons are widely scattered on the sides. A torch like the Loop is awesome as an inspection or walking light but its beam angle is too wide to selectively illuminate the end of that narrow alleyway. For this sort of situation, one needs a dedicated thrower like the Sofirn IF22A or at least, a balanced beam like the Wurkkos FC12 outputs.

Yes this light isn't great for long range purposes. Good all rounder, especially for its size though. Even a Convoy S2+ would be better for this alleyway.

@@DarrenYeoYT I took notice of this video because you demonstrated it in real life urban scenarios. The narrow alley beam test is such a revelation because the usual golf course/recreational park testing grounds mainly shows the flashlight's raw light output. The narrow alleyway test on the other hand, demonstrates how all that raw candlepower translates into actual, useful light in that particular scenario. 🙂
