2019 has been a big year for superhero movies, TV shows, and comics, which means that fans have had to bid goodbye to some of their favorite characters. Of course, not all of them are gone for good, but that doesn’t make their death scenes any less sad. We all know about the big losses in Avengers: Endgame, but TV viewers also lost some major characters on the various DC shows and Amazon’s The Boys, and comic book fans took some serious hits as well this year. Let’s take a look back at some superheroes who sadly died in 2019.

True, while I hate to see Mystique being killed off, I'm kinda glad Jennifer Lawrence is gone. I never liked her version of Mystique. But as the X-men are pretty much dead in the water, like the Avengers, it may all prove academic.

Red Daughters was one of my favorite characters of all time and to the saddness it was devastated that she was gone and shocked the worldwide. Rest In Peace, Snowpower. (Red Daughter)

biggest shocker for me was "Crisis on Infinity Earth" - killed off: Burt Ward (1960's batman), Keaton's Batman, Birds of prey, Flash 90's, Smallville Superman, and about a billion other heroes as the multiverse is destroyed. doing this on a 5 show TV budget and making it better then any of the DCEU movies was outstanding.

Well almost no one liked..cuz it's actually pretty bad, Nora was annoying, and even Oliver's actor himself got tired of the terrible writing and left..and in so doing, Oliver is now dead.

The thing that often drove me nuts about the Supergirl show is often they took Superman's achievements, and villains, and just gave them to Supergirl. It essentially follows Superman's story line with a couple of characters swapped out. Even Superman himself played more the role Supergirl does in the comics. It would have been much better if they actually had a unique story line for Supergirl.

I've always been a huge fan of superhero movies & tv series. So 2019 was extremely heartbreaking for me especially when it comes to GREEN ARROW dieing I have watched ARROW ( series) since the beginning 8 season's ago and have become a huge fan of the The Green Arrow character & the series ( even though it's had it's up's & downs over 8 season's) it's still really sad seeing it come to an end for good after 8 season's. I'll really miss seeing the Green Arrow being apart of THE CROSSOVERS every season. However I Did notice what's really interesting is after losing all these great HEROES in 2019 out of all them the Only HERO that was RESURRECTED & Brought back ( so far ) was OLIVER QUEEN aka GREEN ARROW soon to become someone even better ( THE SPECTOR) guess . So once that happens we will get back most of our other heroes from The DC & THE ARROWVERSE WORLD'S BACK ( hopefully) !

Plus the fact that she stays postive no matter what (even when she died ) plus she showed that heroes are not perfect. Hell even Barry made mistakes and we don't hate him for it but when his daughter does it we instantly start to hate her for some reason. So yes she is annyoing. But she is also a courious and postive charater who like a guy like me can relate to in some way.

@@disneyerapowerrangers2923 That's inaccurate. Oliver's version of the Spectre clearly survived, and likely Anti-Monitor kept Pariah alive as well to watch the final show down. (Other theoretically survivors are potentially other Legends/Time travels who could have slipped into Vanishing point. Television Lucifer hasn't really been shown to be anywhere near as powerful as his comic counterpart, but if he was, he too would have survived...

No, he basically said "no relation to the Raven from DC's Titans", or words to that effect.

Jakk Frost 1:50 “You would be on shaky ground calling ravens comic book counter part, the marvel version not the teen titan, a hero.” They are not counterparts and even the most casual of comic readers or even people who just watch movies or cartoons would know that they have nothing to do with each other, other than share a name. Mystique’s comic book counterpart is mystique. There was no point in bringing the other up.

Raven dying was the only reason why I decided to watch Dark Phoenix on the plane. Glad I didn't see it in cinemas, glad her character is dead. Now we can go back to where she's a villain.
