Dang the average age was 60 I was 14 when I discovered this show I’m 16 now and have binge watched this show more than 10 times at this point I just watch random episodes when I need to pass time still my favorite show and I recommend to everyone

My wife and I binge watched all episodes in a short period of time. We spent our 32nd wedding anniversary at the occidental hotel in Buffalo Wyoming in 2019. Sadly, we were unable to book a room for Longmire Days. What a great show and we so appreciated the story line and lack of foul language.

I love this show, I have gotten 5 of my friends addicted to it and they in turn have passed it on. Incredibly well written, excellent casting, characters you cared about, moral story lines. Robert Taylor embodied the role of Walt beautifully. Please bring the series back or make a couple of movies.

I loved Robert Taylor in this role. Having read the Longmire books I feel like he channeled the essence of the character quite well. I've known some tough old country men, and he looks real.

He's a really nice guy and very giving. I worked background on the show several days and got to shake his hand in season 4 episode 4, (the FBI guy with moustache at his cabin, beginning of the episode). There was a family with small children renting a cabin nearby and he took time to visit with them. Great guy and great show! Director that day was Peter Weller (RoboCop)....also a terrific guy and very easy to work for.

Longmire was the very best Western I have watched. Robert Taylor played Longmire perfectly. The whole lineup of Actors were the very best choice..Wish it was still on Netflix..Lou Diamond Philips was amazing also.. you just don't see Westerns like this anymore. ❤❤❤

Longmire was a great show! My wife started watching it first, then I started watching it with her. Was really sad that it got cancelled. As far as the age range issue that A&E had, my wife and I are in our early forties and the show never seemed like it was aimed at older people. Great show nonetheless and loved seeing the characters brought to life by Robert Taylor & crew.

I recommended it to my youngest Son and he enjoys watching it. Then my daughter started watching it too. The cast is great and awesome actors. Never should of cancelled the show. I am 72 and enjoy the show very much.

I was sick when this ended. This show was the best show on tv. I love the show. It was so exciting and it put you on the edge of your seat. This show actually had a story. I can’t stand modern tv shows. I rarely watch any. Age has nothing to do with anything. So what if the younger generation wasn’t into it. I don’t like the crap they watch. Bring the show back. The reason Nighthorse is such a great villian? Because if you pay close attention, he not really a villian. He makes some mistakes, and has some under the table dealings, but is overall a protagonist of his tribe.

@@aaronrudolph1129 This is what I propose: We get a loyal Longmire fan, who possesses the required skills, and have him or her create a short 3 or 4 minute film of Vic receiving the information that the show is cancelled and her response of kicking the Netflix executive where it hurts most. I'm sure this will help a lot of fans to release their unconscious aggression, and make everyone feel a little bit better. Only problem is getting Katee Sackhoff to actually do it.

As much as I hated seeing the show end, I was grateful they got the chance to wrap things up in the end and was satisfied with the ending as bittersweet as it was. Thanks for the video! Now I'm in the mood to binge Longmire again!

I miss the show also and it's now become my pacifier show on Netflix, and I pretty much have it on 99% of the time with the 1% spent on watching new movies, it saddens me that these tv producers have no interest in in us baby boomers, when we have, and spend the most time actually watching tv. They apparently don't give a damn about ratings. Oh and yes I'm 63 and still travel the US with my girlfriend of 27 years on my bick, how's that for an old/young'n

It seems that the key to keeping it on would be to tailor advertising to that age group. We have more disposable money than most other groups. Bring it back. We all need to contact Netflix about it.

This was a unbelievable serais that is so true, unfortunately many did not understand that a sheriff that had multiple governments , (western city's, and native American reservations) but that was what I liked, a man of all trades, still a lover of life, but set in his ways. It was a great 5 years

Hey it wasn’t the first time this has been canceled! It was canceled by major TV (A&E) Cable prior to it going to Netflix, I’m only glad that Netflix picked it up or a few seasons. AGE related? Baloney!

@@lisasez - I’m just glad that this show got three more seasons on Netflix! Sadly for viewers, several of the main actors went on to other jobs. This is a main indicator when a program has been canceled. By the way, it’s where the money goes; it’s where the advertisers believe they will make money! Sad!

@@lisasez no it’s doesn’t. I read an article that said the ratings were fine . They just thought there advertisement wouldn’t like the age group that watched it. I think that’s stupid. Ratings should be ratings no matter the age group.

We started watching Longmire in Britain several years ago on Channel 4 (I think it was) but then it stopped, so after following the very enjoyable series, we were cut off from the rest of the storyline. We have Netflix, but the series has not been available in Britain. Once again, the public are treated with contempt by the tv companies. Excellent insight into the production. Just wish we could have seen it through to the finale.

I got hooked on every single episode! usually i get bored of shows after some seasons but this seemed like there was always a twist that kept me interested. Honestly, if they made more episodes i would totally watch them and not be bored.

I feel like the ending was rushed. We see Henry taking over the casino at the end of the finale, but we don't see what became of Nighthorse.

Exactly. The "final season definitely could've stood to go on for another episode or two to fully close all of the chapters, and my wife & I cringed hard at the slow burn between Vic and Walt. Bleh.

@@nameunavailable315 Sadly unlikely now. Katee Sackhoff has moved on to Star Wars and Netflix was already it's second home. Im just pleased that we got the 6 seasons that we got. Plenty of good shows don't even get that much. This city boy enjoyed a glimpse into the culture of the rural West.

"Older" people are living longer and are becoming a larger demographic. We need shows like this as the characters are more relatable than the "young" people on most shows. We also grew up on westerns. I'm 59, and don't have a cell phone either (much to the chagrin of my family).

Followed K Sackhoff and LD Phillips to this show from Battlestar and life long fan. Show got me into books and enjoy both for different reasons. The casting of Taylor and Phillips is perfect when I read the books I hear them. Loved the show, especially when moved to netflix to expand time for more plot, charater development, especially of the tribal police and characters like Knighhorse and Mathias. Have met the author in real life and very generous personality to fans. As someone who has an affinity for the west, we enjoy this show a lot and have even been to Buffalo, WY, and filming locations in Las Vegas, NM, the Caldera, and the sight of the real Red Pony in Madrid NM, the Mine Shaft I believe for other fans out there.

Loved Longmire. I own a Marlin 44 Mag lever action and his lever action is what caught my eye originally. Ended up watching it and as I said before...I loved it. Very good.

I would be interested in seeing an updated version of Longmire - 4 years later. Great writing, excellent action and acting, beautiful scenery; no wonder the show was a hit. I've binge watched it three time in the last 4 years,

Hopefully one day Netflix will bring back Longmire! I love the scenery, the native Indian cultures & the great storylines in each show not too mention the great actors WOW! It offers everything for everyone! I can’t believe Longmire actually has more mature groups of adults watching than the younger groups of adults! I would just say we more mature adults have quality taste in great movies!

I loved this show. The cast, scenery, and the writers were awesome. I think it was very well executed with great storylines and I think it was one of the best shows on TV. I really miss it.

I liked Longmire so much that I bought the whole series on DVD. Longmire and Red Road were two of the best shows that were on Netflix.

Some of you may have already heard of the British series of Ballykissangel. Robert Taylor played Father Vincent Sheahan, an Austrailian Catholic priest. (2001 season 6) After watching him in Longmire, hearing his native accent took a bit of getting use to, but it was very enjoyable just the same. Hopefully you can find the show, either on BBC America or BritBox, which is where I saw it.

My husband and I loved Longmire. Great show. Since my husband's stroke ,his speech has improved . He will argue with the characters .

Longmire was just an epic and awesome show. I have not enjoyed a series like this since the Walton's. Longmire is nothing the like the Waltons but its gritty edge in an urban setting pinged a serious cord in me. Great Show and Great Ending.

Yeah, l'm part of the 60+ crowd; my wife and l enjoyed Longmire like very few other shows. Great cliffhangers,great cast and great story lines.
