Absolutely loving your channel, massive thanks! Given your love for the MPC workflow i've been thinking about why don't you have the MPC X? Especially the way that the 16 Q-Link knobs expanded my experience with MPC, that alone is an argument for the X in my book. So i was wondering if you have a reason for not having an X?

Bruh Malo, those loops are so dope man! I only use KZfaq for old sega and Nintendo samples since some are not even on Vinyl. That would be it. Otherwise I’m the same way VinylLoopDigga :}

sometimes the bpm doesnt matter just like you said. i used to waste alot of time trying to line things up like that. as long as the chops are just right or have alot of space itll work out when you start laying drums

Spot on exactly. As long as those chops are on the downbeat, the temple really flies out the window and performing those chops is what matters. Thank you for sharing this with us

Can you set the Bars , like 2 bars 4 bars 8bars etc , it looks like that is not an option when making sample/loop ! Thanks for your video’s ! Peace

Thanks for this video. A very useful video as you did. very smart the way to fond tempo by counting and time stretch. I've got one question, when you play the bass, how do you know you play in the good key ? Do you watch the key of sample in sample edit ? or do you use your hear ? Thankls again for your videos and all yout rips ! Take care.

You can bounce just the sample and mute everything else in the main sequence then go to sample edit and look at the key there , or get a piano plugin and play each note till you find the root note then check your bass note sample and put the right root note on it if you are using 16 levels there are many ways to do it though

I discovered this method recently. Counting the number of beats in the sample is key to using time stretch, makes it quite simple. Well done as always Malo!

Great video Malo..I have an idea for a video that can also benefit others.. Template setup for quicker worklflow. Maybe explain sends/return. Plugins inserts to use as references. You're the expert I'm sure you may have a lot of other preset settings that can help speed up work flow
