So much better when you did chase her down and through, chasing them in seems excessive I guess but you can see as soon as you back off she turns away - I know Hobbit said once she's trotting don't chase but then as shown here, she turns around or doesn't have the impulsion in her canter and stride to keep going (or like you all said, thrust! 😂) it is easier if you place three people one at D, X and G to encourage them down the arena without having to chase quite as much, which also keeps them more on the track making the turn easier, then the person by the end where you want them to jump from just follow them down the jumps and they keep going rather than break canter/stop after jump one but some lovely jumps especially that last one!! Well done Bryni!! 🥳

What an honest pony who trusts what you push her to do, nice to watch. What you want in an eventer! and she loves it! Loose jumping is how everyone should start off a youngster jumping they need to learn where their feet are and where the poles are without a rider carrying them over it. It creates a horse that can and will get themselves out of any difficulty on an event course or in the jumping ring.

She’s spicy! Lovely movement and very promising jump too. Seems to be less spooked by things generally than Bear, so hopefully a bit braver and happier to event than Bear too. Hope you’ve got plenty of sticky bum breeches handy though!

Looks like you got just what it said on the tin, buying a sister of Bear! I like her energy, though. And she's very smart about looking for spots to rest and eat, clever pony 🐴 (I hate to be advice guy, but don't forget to release on the lead when your ponies are doing what you want, otherwise they'll not know when you're pleased and get frustrated...)
