That definitely will work 👍 but I rarely do that as it also makes my paper wetter and sometimes that will hinder what I’m wanting my final result to be. Most people tape their paper also. 😊

No it’s just watercolor, not watercolor ink.

Make a solid sketch to facilitate the painting process: overrated Stick the paper on the table top : overrated Use a brush with a well-defined tip: overrated Avoid cauliflower edges: overrated Do not touch the surface of the paper with your fingers: overrated Wait with dark areas and details until the first wash is dry: overrated I really like the result. The picture would make a good book cover for an unfinished Kafka novel.
