Heather and Alistair James are the parents of Dame Deborah James, otherwise known as ‘Bowelbabe’, who heartbreakingly passed away in June 2022 at the age of 40 after being diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016. Almost two years on from losing their eldest child, Heather and Alistair will be bravely opening up about how they’ve learnt to manage the huge hole Deborah’s passing left in their hearts, their determination to keep her legacy alive and the lasting impact their daughter’s zest for life has left on them forever.
