i think most of the background vocals in colouring are the bg vocalist :) (except the adlibs in the last chorus). the "woah's" in the pre-chorus sound like her a bit but it's a bg vocalist! but i plan on making vocal analyses for the whole album anyways so!

Hyunjin did highnote on tour, so im sure its her, its even sound more like her in pre-record(its like live vocal but recorded in the studio if I am not mistaken)

2:03 I'm still so impressed by this because when I listened to the song I just thought one of them did the lower notes and the other one did the high notes, but yeojin goes higher and hyunjin goes low 🤯

I think their positions based on their level should be Hyunjin main vocalist Yeojin and hyeju lead vocalists Vivi and gowon sub vocalists However there isn’t a very big gap between any of them so maybe this won’t be how they’re treated by the company. And no offense but people who say “who gon sing??” have a point. They surely can sing but none of them are good technical vocalists. Currently they’re pretty weak. If only two people improve and get to level that’s good enough for kpop’s standards for a main and lead vocal, they would be fine. But currently yeah they’re pretty weak. The only group i can think of who’s as weak is debut era stacy. And even now they’re better. I wonder if the agency is gonna give them training and i hope they do. They can dance, have members that are good enough for dance positions (mainly hyeju, hyunjin and gowon), can perform and even have members for rap positions (hyeju and maybe yeojin) but they really need improvement in the vocals department.

I'm not hearing the "who gon sing" nonsense because HeeJin and Yves definitely shouldn't have been singing, and yet they did constantly. I don't need paragraphs analyzing how their vocals are weak by any of a hundred or so people whose only singing experience is in the shower. Let them breathe, and let them push back on years and years of agkae fans insisting they were denied time to sing because they somehow deserved it.
