Both the Hermit and Series EV are absolutory busted. They both make excellent boss killers and they have some of the most insane towers in the game. Otherwise, your progression is really steady and I am enjoying watching you! In all honesty I am not very far ahead of you, as I am just starting to get transcendent gear and ultimate weapons, so your stage of the game is in really recent memory and it really amplifies the experience.

Like Chiku already commented before me: Tinkerer's first wave is indeed easier on Nightmare (hilariously) than on medium, so you may have been mislead if you did it on medium. I'm just sitting here waiting for that inevitable "eureka" moment of you beating it some day and realizing how it yields the same amount of XP you got from a whole run of glitterhelm. Nice to see your progress in making some very viable or even essential characters for late game (EV). Always looking forward to these vids nowadays lol.

I personally never use the slice and dice, I let the ranged towers do all the damage and usually like to completely cover routes using spike blockades because you have more overall health but double the DU efficiency.

00:48 - The map you're on here in the tavern... did you try it on medium? (first wave Nightmare is easier then first wave easy on that map due to how different the mob spawns are, trust me ;)

Hey I am also a Squire main and this map is probably my favorite, what's a way that I could get you a diagram for setting traps on this map? I have a setup that I've used to pretty easily farm Insane hardcore survival. I think as soon as I hit 74 it became pretty easy to get through the entire 25 waves, only thing is you need a monk but he can even be pretty under leveled because all you need him for is ensnare aura. If you miss space the towers then you also run the risk of ogres ruining the whole thing.

For the EV, due to the nature of her defenses, as well as how the scale, dump literally EVERYTHING into tower damage, thats all the ev cares about lol (naturally you wanna have the other stats passively on your gear, but you need not put any points into them) youll see why this is the case when you use the EV ;)

Ev honestly makes everything easier because of buff and reflect beams buff is the most important but reflect beams are not too far off, as one comment said you dont really need to put points into beam health, just dump it all into beam damage and you will get the other stats passively thru gear, weapons or pets, also the map Moonbase rewards a exceptionally good builder pet I would suggest doing Moonbase on hard or so because the map is still pretty difficukt on the lower difficulties (ogres have over 1m hp or so on hard tho u might have to follow a guide to get the pet its callee "fish in a bowl" and it requires a tiny bit of steps to get but its really easy to get IF your able finish moonbase on hard (tips for moonbase this map is unique where u only need one crystal out of the 3 given to win upon destroying one crystal will gain a new enemy spawn point and less Defense and minion units to work with which goes down to 55 if the crystal your defending remains unharmed its a really interesting map to play and it would be interesting to see u do it
