Don’t ever want to call a suicide line or a crisis line. They don’t help. But if you admit yourself into a hospital you may be there for a few weeks. But it’s better than a crisis line dumping you at a random psych ward that’s filled with recovering addicts. No offense to them. Just not good for my mental health to be around people like that. @Mario mario What black women you listenin to? Black women still sound like women, not a middle aged white man. Also, white chicks was literally the least racist movie ever because it was harping on white people and classism against rich people instead of poor people. The movie was literally reverse blackface. Also just because SOME black women MAY sound like that, doesn't mean a white man can pretend to be black and steal a job from an actual black woman, and stereotype how black women sound ( a very common black stereotype). Not to mention, the actual black woman takes control of the show and we get the storyline of, "white man is better black woman than the black woman" comparing white chicks to this movie is just so fucking stupid because it is using black stereotypes against the white, racist people. This movie is literally just reinforcing those stereotypes.

And they think theyre like geniuses or something for being countercultural out of a reflexive nature to disagree with people that those within their net are also inclined to disagree with. Which is an element of both sides but only one side is logical enough to sit down and think through things enough to have a large number of people considering that standards and criticism apply to both sides. I absolutely love reading the positive reviews for this. Every single one of them goes "its an amazing and hillarious movie. People are just too sensitive nowadays" Meanwhile forgetting that films like A Serbian Film, 120 days of Salo, South Park, Family Guy, Human Centipede etc etc etc exist and all of them have at least 4 times higher reviews than this movie. Nah those movies werent provocative enough, but a bunch of actors who cant act, a protagonist who isnt funny or charming coming from a narcisstic producer, and a plot drier than heated sand is what tips the snowflakes.

There's something about the fact that he wrote, directed and STARRED in his OWN movie that screams, no, SHRIEKS superiority complex. Its like when M. Night starred as the chosen one in that one alien movie or whatever. Totally pretentious.

It wasn't aliens, it was a magical being called a Narf who was literally born out of a swimming pool or something. AND they had Paul Giamatti act like a baby while a 10 year old read the future from cereal boxes. "Lady in the Water" is a trip.

It’s the Neil Breen/Tommy Wiseau style of moviemaking where they write themselves as the charming/cool main character that everyone loves and compliments in every scene they’re in.

Our boy Jeremy forgot a very important detail about character writing: If the character says they're humble out loud, they're not. Even worse if you play said character.

It's less their not automatically not humble, and more so just flat put lazy way to characterize in a story.
