I finally tried the famous Vietnamese pho soup. It’s popular all over the world and despite the fact that the Vietnamese eat it mainly for breakfast you can try it at any time and almost anywhere in Hanoi.
However, I wanted to go to a special place and that’s why I had to wait. It was worth it! 🙂 That was really a phenomenally tasty pho soup with very aromatic super strong broth. I highly recommend this place! There were a few tourists like me but most people were locals who had come to have breakfast before work.
After breakfast I got on a van, travelled for two hours, then I got on a boat and ended up in Ha Long Bay - one of the most visited places in Vietnam. Ha Long Bay is a bay of surreal beauty! I stayed there for two days and one night. That was included in the excursion that I had previously booked in Bulgaria.
I liked the place very much but it was packed. In spite of that I managed to enjoy the lovely views that the bay offers. The two days passed very fast but I wasn’t sorry. On the very next day I was going to travel to one special city in the central part of Vietnam!
