not that surprised honestly. I agree people took the printing to MSRP comment wrong. From what I've seen, it was readily available if you looked. I don't think they'll be printed to the ground like some people think. The companies smarter than that. With set 6 in mind, they want this to last. and with the new promo enchanted, a RB employee said this card didn't have the intent for (everyone) to get. They appreciate players but also collectors.

@@VintageWingz absolutely, it’s important to be accessible but also equally important to be engaging. Making cards feel special to collectors is important too.

I don't think there will be a reprint. No need too. You can buy singles and booster boxes still. My LCS has a great price. I've been buying some, because inventory started getting lower. I think it'll keep going up in the future. I know my retail stores in the area are sold out. My Target never even got product. Slowly you'll see it get bought up, and some will say "man, I wish I would've bought it."

Yeah, mine has had some as well. Not sure how much more back stock they have but I’ve been buying them up for drafts and sealed events locally

You never know! The fact that they have avoided it almost entirely may mean they go big in one set

I do think that their goal is to keep their new sets available at MSRP but doubt they plan to focus on keeping all sets on the shelves

Doubt it drops unless another big reprint comes. At this point I would expect First Chapter to increase steadily unless an official announcement comes from Ravensburger.

Yeah, there is some back stock that has been trickling out but doubt we see much more on shelves

My guess would be that this is backstock for them. Not unusual for stores to release their stock in smaller waves. That would be way too soon for another print run to be coming out and would conflict with Ravensburger's set 3 launch.

I thankfully snagged a few I still needed right before the hike but still need three more for the set

Yeah a popular character and good legendary so has a good chance of holding value if not going up for awhile

I think the inventory of commons is probably safe but best to keep four copies just in case

exacly what ive been trying to tell people i come across... keep and sleeve everything even commons ... later down the road these will be like the first edition pokemon cards....

Because the goal of a company is not to produce an item until there is no demand. That isn’t good for the health of the game or financially beneficial for the company. Now if the game really takes off with organized play I could see them going back for reprints but otherwise I think it would not be likely to happen.

@@mrbean7888 there is no guarantee there will be another print run and no reason to wait and see. Product is reasonable right now so buy what you want/need before what is available dries up. It is uncommon for TCGs to go and keep doing prints of old sets as it is financially burdensome and risky.

What makes them weird Disney cards? It’s a collectible and they are the rarest cards in the set. Not saying they can’t come down but also don’t think they are crazy overpriced for their rarity

I watched Disney movies my whole life. I’m 32. I understand that just because it’s not for me doesn’t mean it’s illegitimate but I truly don’t think 98% of people care for a piece of cardboard with Elsa on it the way they have a sentimental attachment to something like yugioh or Pokémon cards. I’m kinda shocked people paying the prices they are.

@@dirtsquids9854 I personally don’t have that attachment to Elsa but there are characters I do have strong attachments too and would definitely get the coolest versions of them. I will say that half (maybe a little more) of Elsa’s value is speculative buyouts but I still understand the demand.

I do find it fascinating but confusing on how fast the cards went up in price, then down in price, and then back up within just months. That's something we just don't see in Pokemon which I follow pretty closely. Most of the time I see cards that dip for months, stay stagnant, and then years later start to go up. The fact we see this within just months is crazy to me all because they are new TCG's and people misinterpreting how reprints will be handled.

@@KZfaqfan567 well in all fairness the inventory of these cards have been extremely volatile up to this point. We started out with a very small amount that was easy to buy out and then reprints came out driving the prices down. Now that the inventory is drying up people are soaking up the smaller available amounts
