I would really encourage you to continue to cover Lorcana, I can definitely see people rallying around this type of content, really high quality and insightful. I have been in TCG/CGG for a while and really appreciate your efforts to highlight the key gameplan for each deck, this is often missed by most content creators who focused on the decklist but don't provide enough context on the relevance and impact of each card.

Finally, someone who has put more thought on deck building rather than giving individual rankings to cards. Most content creators don't understand that these cards can't be necessarily evaluated individually but on how they fit the meta and the decks they play into. Excellent video.

Glad to see a lot of the decks I have been brewing on here. I think these 5 are solid archetypes. Even with metas changing, I hope they stick around, just with a few card swaps.

I really like "Just in time" in emerald/Ember. Very good well to turbo out your 4 to 5 cost threats as early as turn 3 and save resources in your inkwell at the cost of it being uninkable.

As a Disney fan, I am so getting into this madness. Lol. Bought the Sapphire/Steel precon already too. But this video is great for future deck ideas. I took screen shots of the deck list so I'll have an idea of what to look for in the future.

Thanks for sharing your analysis of decks that have gone through iterative playthroughs. I've only stuck to theorycrafting but this list validates a bunch of thoughts I have come up with that have validated my suspicions about what will become the most competitive decks such as: Jaffar can be properly supported even in an above average speed deck, steel is worth considering in aggro builds, pocket watch is important to fix bad draws that don't allow you to be as aggressive as you want early on. But there are a few things you have mentioned that denounce some thoughts I have on what isn't viable at the highest levels of the future meta such as: Elsa is a viable top end, slotting in mother gothel isn't a requirement for slower emerald decks, and most importantly Ruby as a color is viable for competitive play. Even with your list I still think Ruby is not a good enough color but I will only write up a long post about why only if someone is interested in reading what would be a lengthy analysis. KZfaq comments is usually not the place for such discussions. Regardless I want to emphasize again my gratitude over your willingness to provide such insight before people really had time to buy the actual physical cards and challenge the meta that has developed online. It is still very useful and will give all of us something to think about some more as we homebrew.

I would like to see an Amethyst and Sapphire build.

I'm not an avid TCGplayer so a lot of this terminology is lost on me. But I've played enough to understand the gist of it. The last two decks look amazing and I was already leaning that direction for fun purposes. Now you've given me a goal to work towards even beyond that.

Picked up the starter decks for my kids and I. I was wondering what meta decks would look like and I’ve actually thought about a few of these, namely gen 3. So props to me I guess 😂 Either way great video dude, keep it up.

Just wanna double check the thought process here. For the Amber & Emerald Aggro deck, is the only reason you included Lefou the fact that it's a 2 ink 2 lore? I noticed there wasn't a Gaston so I was a tad bit confused lol

What do you think of steel sapphire? It plays a lot like ruby sapphire but it has a better matchup going into aggro because of hans 13th, tinker bell giant, smash, and grab your swords

Great video! It just sucks that it's going to take a lot of money to get the copies of the cards needed to do some of these decks.

If you were to buy four of the amber/amethyst decks to have a playset of every card, what would you play? I really like the idea of recycling that mickey/broom has, with hades, and facilier recycling rushes, ysmas and melificents draws, but anyways: if you had playsets of all those cards in the amber/amethyst starter, how would you build it?

What are your thoughts on the miracle item decks that have been theory crafted earlier, do they just take too long to come online?

Hi, which starter deck do you think is better for a beginner, and the easiest to upgrade?

Immediately when I learned the rules and coming from Magic I guessed this will be an Aggro heavy meta with practically unblockable creatures everywhere and very few options to lower opponents lore. I will carefully watch the first event results in September and if aggro is much too overwhelming, I will pass on this game. But if it is an exciting balance between Aggro, Control and other variants I might give it a go with buying singles. What would be the best deck from your list buying into? Which one does have the most commons and uncommons?

For the lemon line build. What can you swap rapunzel for a cheaper option? Especially budget players

Great video but id have to argue that ruby steel control is the best control deck with better removal multiple board wipes, better card draw, and alternate win cons.

Are there regular versions of enchanted cards? If not, i fail to see how anyone makes a viable deck using enchanted cards due to their cost and rarity. And to add, lorcana is gonna have to become a lot more available to buyers if anyone is ever going to be able to make custom decks.

I think you have fogotten steel/sapphire. One of the best combos/synergies with "ONE JUMP AHEAD" + "BELLE" (FISHBONE QUILL) + "A WHOLE NEW WORLD". Also better/cheaper removal against aggro. I think it is all the way better than your number 1.

Hey! Just found this video. At 9:23, you said the Amber/Emerald deck has beaten the top ranked Pixelborn player. In the screenshot at the timestamp, that is *not* the rank 1 player. The 1 next to that person's name means they've been a Patreon support for 1 month. A lot of the top players in Pixelborn are choosing to remain anonymous so they have default names.

Olaf seemed like such a bad card, but with so many 1/1 lilo’s being played, he has become pretty powerful on turn one. But just ink after that. Really cool decks. I’ve made an amber/amethyst deck that’s similar but I would say rapunzel is a must have 4 copies in it. I’m shocked to not see it on your list. The card draw, heal, and quest power is just insane on an inkable card to boot. She’s definitely the strongest card imo. Although Be Prepared and Tinkerbell giant fairy aren’t to be scoffed at (but obviously not played in that deck).

I love trading card games taking mechanics from other games and doing their own thing with it but this game seems to be just stealing all other card game ideas and slapping disney art on it :/ its Keyforge, it's magic, even the ramp is BLUE just like Dragon ball super lol
