To think 3 months would feel like forever, a third of the way there and yet it feels unreachable. How I crave to be held in his arms once more, to hear his soft, kind voice in the morning. How his laughter filled the kitchen over breakfast. 2 weeks was not nearly enough time, 9 months is too long to wait. Long distance hurts, it's a pain I have never experienced before. I have somebody who truly loves me and yet the world is cruel and we were placed thousands of kms away. Left to express our feelings over a call rather than face to face. Just how many tears have I shed that he has wished he could wipe away, just how many hard days has he had where I would do anything to be there to comfort? It feels like I've lost him at times, like I left a part of me there. I know I'll go back, but months apart is too hard to bare.

this song really reminded me when we were at the prom and sitting behind the hall just the two of us where no can see us, i was in my blue ball gown while everyone is dancing and suddenly i cried to him (i cry every night lol). he saw me walk out of the area and followed me than saw how much i was crying that night, he looked at me in the eyes, but i avoid eye contact. he didn't hug me or anything this ain't fairy tale lol, he was just looking at me while I cry then i wiped my own tears and he got me some water. we left the back and go to his proper table arrangement (we got assigned to our tables but didn't follow it) then we were sitting in the chairs and we were talking about random stuff then he held my hand while everyone was infront of us (our hands are under the table and the table cloth is blocking our hands from sight). later that night he bought a handkerchief that he carefully place on his backpack just in case i cry again while im with him. we started dating weeks after that, but we broke up, he's at South east asia and im at Europe, we can't endure the distance and eventually broke up in our 7th month of love, new years eve December 31 2023
