Now that I have healed over these past 6 years and our babies are getting older I wish we would have stayed together for the sake of our little family. Yes it is the worse pain ever.....I always thought I would have a grave to go sit beside to grieve over him if I ever lost him but no he left after 13 years on Thanksgiving 2020!!!! He is 20 miles from me, living with his mother at 56 years old.....I had to take one of our dogs to him last night that I could not keep because of my job and seeing him is like looking at a stranger now!!! Where did the man I love go? He died on the operating table the day before his 50th birthday when he had triple bypass open heart surgery.......yet he still lives but I felt him pull away from me the 4 years after his surgery!!! I guess it's true that type of surgery can change a person but I never thought it would change his love for me.......the pain of losing him was excruciating but now he is just someone I do not even know anymore!!!

My wife recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. This song just encapsulates my sadness. Takes me back to that night almost 10 years ago when we met for the first time. A magical night that we did not want to end. We were eventually asked to leave the restaurant since it was so late. We wandered around and sat on a bench and talked for hours. I will never forget that night we met. The Chorus sums up 100% what I went through with our cancer journey.. "I had ALL and then MOST of you. SOME and now NONE of you.. I dont know what I am supposed to do haunted by the ghost of you" . We both loved this song before but it now has a new added , layered meaning. She gave me so much least of all my greatest blessing our 6 year old daughter and I will forever see Jo in her.
