Lost my dad in 2020 from dementia. Holding his hand as he took his last breathe I put my phone on his chest and played this for him. Told him I would be ok and he passed in about ten minutes. Love you dad.

this is the second time I have listened to this wonderful song I hope my husband gets back in church he is still believe strongly in god I watched god save him 15 years ago the D.R .said that he would give him 3-5 hours to live but I prayed and prayed but he said I don’t want to die that’s when god took over to this day he is still sober we knew god picked him up I wil never give up on god he has changed my life also I know hod loves me and everyone amen

My grandpa passed away last week. He was a missionary who did God's work by spreading the gospel in rural places, while also holding healing crusades. Before finding Christ, grandpa was one of the richest businessmen in the state. He found God and gave up his wealth to serve the father. He died a man of God at the ripe age of 94 still praying for people. This song hits me so hard and i want to cry again cause i miss grandpa.

Lost my grandad in 1996. I miss him everyday and wish I could sit on the back porch and talk to him once more. This song describes his life. The most humble & loving man I have ever known. In his last week on earth he told me, boy I want to go home. I said grandad, you are at home. He said, no boy, I want to go home. I told him it's okay if you go home grandad, your work on this earth has been tremendous. His name was John Earl Clingenpeel . I'm forever proud and grateful to be his grandson. I'll see you again one day grandad and we will sit on the porch and chat all day long

Wow!! Y'all have amazing voices!! And the song,, well I've been asking God to take me since He took my mom with Him in 2017,, losing a loved one is really hard but losing your mom is a whole different type of hurr . The grieving doesn't stop,it is harder every day without her. And I'm 50 years old,, I tell a few people that I can't wait to die so I can see my mom again... I'm not gonna take my own life as I know I wouldn't see her again. So I'll wait til God's ready for me... I just hope it's soon

My Grandma died Jan this year. After years and years of many other challenges god gave me in my life- this was by far my pivot. Grandma took my life and need to live with her. I am soo ready to go home!

These songs are so touching and it brings me back when I was a little girl going to church with my grand ma..but now I'm a grown woman who is 51 years and a grandma to 4 boys that I just lost there mother my babygirl due to the covid 2021 it's beena year but I'm still hurting never knew how painful this is ....and I feel for all the mothers ...please keep me in prayers 🙏
