So I study at Berkeley Community College, in Berkeley, Ca. I just gave my final speech for my public speaking class on the topic of BLM today, which was a required topic. I was the only student (out of 20 or so) who had anything critical to say about BLM, and most definitely went through the George Soros connection, and used Lord Jamar here as a reference in my speech. Let me say first ☝, the professor, a liberal white lady, nearly wanted to shut down my thesis before I even began, was so defensive & nearly verbally attacking me about my criticism of BLM with Soros...and by the end of my speech today, she looked so uncomfortable! I would say that's a win. 💯👍👍🏼👍🏽👍🏿

It’s encouraging to hear an actual black man who understands that BLM is not a true black movement. It is instead a rich white guy using blacks to achieve his goal. The socialization of America
@aariehemitte20153 жыл бұрын
I think regardless of how BLM was started. They have the ability to be successful. All the issues previously stated at this time have short life spans. Sad to say, we first have to focus on the issue at hand. Once successful, the movement must be steered in the next direction. That's where it gets difficult. Historically we never agree on an issue, a focus, a soap box to stand on. Will we agree on which way we move forward. Only time will tell but its been the reason we haven't moved forward in the past. Afraid to be led is just like crabs in a barrel. Internal sabotage occurs all the time, especially on the lower levels of an organization, to the point that it halts progress.
@Kimmy_953 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Reminds me of BET channel that promotes 'black American culture' yet it's also ran by white people if I'm not mistaken. So much for celebrating "40 years of Black." for their Anniversary.

This is so true, black or white we are all people! The media perpetuate stereotypes such as white people are racist and black people are criminals. Look at the news and this whole shit with the police, the headline isn't "Poorly trained police officer kills man in tragic police stop" it's "white cop kills black man while 3 other white cops sit and watch". They don't even care about the facts 2 of the officers that were standing by weren't even white, one was Asian and the other looked biracial, but there's an agenda. We are all from the same ancestors and we are not born to hate each other. Look at little kids, when they play together fo they care if their little friend has a skin color that's different from themselves, no they don't. Wake the fuck up people this is the agenda the media and politicians want to push on you.
@jcampbell68224 жыл бұрын
Very much so. Especially, when you try to explain your opinion to friends on images and ideology and they move off on some other tangent with name calling. He said look it up: We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location. We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead. We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence. We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered. We practice empathy. We engage comrades with the intent to learn about and connect with their contexts. We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work. We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable. We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).
