So many people want to be by us and hateful about certain countries and I feel that you are very honest and comfortable with this thank you again. They blew my mind too when I first heard them, a few weeks ago. I've since bought most of their back catalogue. lol They're #1 for me this year. I'm a true metalhead, but I also like other genres although to a lesser extent. To be honest, this is in my top 10 of best Eurovision songs ever, & I've been watching it since 1976. I just wish the rules let them play their instruments live on stage because metal & hard rock are best live. I can see what you mean about the singer, Chris Harms, sounding a bit like Till Lindemannm the singer of Rammstein, but their music is not really similar, Rammstein is more industrial, LotL more gothic metal, although they seem to be chameleons, with songs from many metal subgenres. :-)

Metal will never die. Luckily no pop song that represents Germany. Please don't compare LOL with Rammstein two different styles of music (Rammstein new German hardness, LOL is dark rock, gothic metal)

Thanx for your reaction and your thoughts. Lord of the Lost: Dark rock meets goth meets glam metal meets synths including a perfect mixture of clean and harsh vocals down to growls. They are a rabbit hole with so many different styles and moods. They recently supported Iron Maiden across Europe and will do so this year again. So they they definitely know how to play a huge stage. They are great musicians and released beside their regular albums three acoustic „Swan Songs“ longplayer with a classic ensemble. Their newest album „Blood and Glitter“ was surprisingly released end of last year with only one week of preselling and hit #1 of the German album charts. What I don't understand is, Rammstein is a totally different band. There are so many other bands in Germany. Even though I'm a Rammstein fan, I would like to say that it is a big event that this band participates at all.
