AMEN THANK YOU JESUS FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE AND CONTINUE TO DO FOR US.

For years I have felt like a prisoner , not understanding why Gods forgiveness hasn’t freed me from my sins ! I literally feel like I’m on a cross , dying the most humiliating and painful and slowest death possible ! Every morning I pray to God for mercy but I know I deserve my punishment and worse but it leaves me confused because the Word claims my sins are forgiven ! Out of anger , I curse God and accuse him of the greater sin but to no avail , I’m still on this cross ! I’m a prisoner and only I know it ! But Jesus opened my eyes , because I’ve been acting like the thief on the left of Jesus , cursing and accusing him and challenging him to get me off this cross if he’s truly the Son of God ! Now that I see what I was behaving like , I’m ready to except my fate on this cross !

This also serves as a fair warning to us don't think you can wait till the last moment to repent and then expect forgiveness like this man next to Jesus on the cross. The only reason he was saved was because he did not know about the word, he did not know that Jesus even existed but when he heard of Jesus and what he has done while on the cross he immediately believed and asked for forgiveness so for us that know there's a saviour repent now and not on your last moments.

Where did Jesus go when He died? Were Jesus and the thief in paradise the same day? Jesus explained where He would be after His death: ■ "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (Matthew 12:40) He was in the tomb three days and nights. He was unable to go anywhere. He was dead. He said so later: ■ "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." (Revelation 1:18) Was Jesus in paradise the same day? No: He was in the tomb. Jesus did not even ascend to the Father until *_after His resurrection._* Outside His tomb He spoke to Mary: ■ "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.* (John 20:17) Was Jesus in paradise the same day? Here's Luke 23:43: ■ "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43 KJV) Luke 23:43 throws people off because it is incorrectly translated. There was no punctuation (commas, for example) in the original texts. Translators added all the commas . . . and in Luke 23:43 KJV they added a comma in the wrong place, before "To day." Here's two translations with *no* comma directly before or after "today": ■ "Jesus replied, “I promise you today you will be with me in paradise.” (FBV, Free Bible Version) ■ "Amen, I say to thee to-day that with me thou shalt be in the Garden of Eden." (F. C. Burkitt, "The Curetonian Version of the Four Gospels," Vol. I, Cambridge, 1904). Check some other Bibles, you'll find a comma placed correctly: after "To day." Immediately any suggestion that He was in paradise _the same day_ disappears: ■ "And Jesus said to him, "Truly, I tell you today, you shall be with Me in paradise." (Faithful Version) ■ "And יהושע said to him, “Truly, I say to you today, you shall be with Me in paradise.” (The Scriptures 2009) So now - with the comma in the right place - there is no longer a conflict with Matthew 12:40 ("three days and nights in the heart of the earth"). And there is no conflict with John 20:17 (" I am not yet ascended to my Father"). Now it all makes sense. Jesus was dead, in the tomb for three days and nights, before He was resurrected and - later - ascended.
