When you stay in range phalanx, your cavalry is going ahead of infantry (because basically cavalry is faster, then infantry). But, as long your range stays alive, then closer approaches infantry towards enemy’s troops (and at some point, infantry will be in front of cav). So, whoever has less range, will win retargeting by putting cavalry in front of infantry. Hope I explained that clear and correctly)

@@VFK931 yes you explain it correctly but what I’m saying is that it’s not always true that you will retarget cav ONLY because your range dies first. And to my question if what you and Oleg say is the case, then why do both sides sometimes retarget cavalry. My point is just that having your range die first is not the only factor to cause cav retarget

Ranged phalanx Vs ranged phalanx ? Weaker account always get a retargeting this way because it lose ranged troops faster. I expected this more than inf plx to be honest
