World Record/World's First Sub Hour. Roughly 200+ hours of routing, practicing and attempts went into this run. Still a lot of save available, but it's definitely time for a little break from this category :)

In 0:40 you walk on a cube mesh with a streched texture that I forgot to delete while I was in charge of building the level 😂. I never thought that those would be used in speedruning damn! HAHAHA. Great run man, after being done working on the game I was waiting for speedruners to do their thing and see how you manage to break the game. ( in a good way obviously!) 😂

Hahahah, but anyway you dont really see this cube in a normal game right? Must have been super fun to work on a game like this! Id love to do some environment art like this, they are gorgeous

@@DhieenIts been an awesome experience indeed. Lots of talented artists worked very hard to create all these beautiful environments, you really get to see how massive a project like this is. If you'd like to be an environment artist and participate in projects like this, all I can say is: go for it, build a cool looking porfolio, don't stop sending CVs and you'll eventually make it. Trust me, If I did it, so can you.

Yeah that look so cool! I hav some experience, 2 years in the game industry, but im still a junior, i worked on the game "banishers, ghosts of new eden" if you re curious, but id love to work on a souls like with gothic aesthetic! Do you have alot of experience?@@xprogerxpxd

I’m unsure if these clips through geometry are patched in later patches because I keep trying them but can’t seem to get them, especially the bramis castle skip for me there is an invisible wall that prevents me from walking up the crystal.

@@giorgosshadow that's how "any%" speedruns work. As in sports - the weight class brackets making competition fair - same in speed running there are different type of runs: glitchLESS or any% or a few more kinky ones.

I’m not a speed runner, so this is more of a clarification question. But shouldn’t the timer continue to count when you die/exit to menu instead of pausing? Regardless you clearly are very talented and have spent a ton of time practicing - great run.

We use a timing method called RTA Loadless, which achieves fairness for people with different PC specs who may have longer load times. Great question!

Hi! Probably a very dumb question but why do you come out of this invincibility state? Why don't you stay in Umbral longer and skip lots of vestiges since you cannot die anyways? Just asking because I'm a noob :D

Why is pieta a giant during the fight, but then goes back to being normal size when shes an NPC at skyrest stupidest thing shouldve just made her normal size during the fight it just looks silly

FromSoft stated years ago that they make bosses larger than normal people because it makes all of their attack and movement tells easier to see for the player. The developers clearly followed that philosophy in this game.

Instead of actually exploiting the bugs in the game, to skip areas, it would have been much better if you had actually fought the bosses and did the speed run.

Why soulslime games keep being made is beyond me. They might be beautiful and have usually a good story, but they are not fun to play at all. Dont even bother to tell me or convince me the contrary. A game should be fun and challenging. Not demanding and frustrating.

It's crazy how they are some of the best-selling and most well-received games, but because you don't like them, they can't possibly be fun. Just say you're bad and move on.
