If you are a die hard souls like fan like myself , then by now cowboy should always be your go to guy for walktroughs . I always play big portions of the game by myself and then revisit an area when needed following allong with this guy's walktrough . Even after all these years i still miss some hidden things here and there. CB laid down allot of fundamentals for me to platinum allot of souls like titels. This man is beyond veteran status for sure.

Trapper Crossbow and ammunition satchels are your friends. Once you get to the high ground part just pepper him with weighted bolts. I did 240 damage with each bolt.

You can actually cheese his triple attack with a tongue, by just slightly coming off the platform and going sideways... he always cancels his animation and goes back to regular attacking pattern... makes nailing him much easier IMO.

I did choose however to go to the ice area next. So far it’s been a blast, one of my favorite areas. I think I am pretty OP, as I have played quite slowly, and am on a level 70-something pure strength build (40 vitality) Sword of skin and tooth slaps. Not even large nuggets to get over +3 yet, but it’s still a beast

@@kabal911 so if you looked up bucket quest line, your actually suppose to do ice area and piagram perch upper alongside memorial alongside memorial vestige before doing depth. Cowboy does cover these two areas but way later. He covers it later because of Andrea's quest-line in ice area.

I don’t understand how you figure all of this out. Like almost all souls games except Elden ring there is no real dialogue to tell you your on a quest. Or training mission to explain mechanic’s well. “You need to go here and find all these things etc”. even Elden ring wasn’t great in quest dialogue but made more sense playing solo. So far I screwed up the horse fight not using the right chick. I tried but she’s too weak. So I’ll do her as a boss. But I missed you warning of cleaning beacons. So I screwed up that line too. I mean first beacon, why wouldn’t you cleanse it?! lol. Overall damn impressive you figure all these things out. Thank you so much for your time. I’d still be at the sky bridge wondering where to go. Love your show! Thanks Cowboy!

this is a second "playthrough" , he first does a "Lets play" , that is where he discovers stuffs and taske notes , Then he does a playthrough were he gives people all the tips. If you wanna see the raw stuff , you need to watch the "lets play" and NOT the "walkthrough". :)

The big wooden wall you're walking towards at 8:45 is actually breakable. Found some loot behind it. Not anything significant though, if I remember correct.

I went back to play Elden Ring after playing this game, and I can honestly say, I like Lords of the Fallen better. I didn't think that I would either. I'm actually vested into the story, it's got great graphics, cool idea with umbral, tons of weapons and upgrades, but I like the map design the most and it doesn't feel like a boss simulator like Elden Ring.

When doing the boss: I managed to find out that whenever he charge up his hand through mouth move - you can just go down the stairs and it cancels the attack completely. Helped me a lot!

That sorceror encounter didn't go the way I wanted it to. I umbraled through that wall and the fire dog trapped me in the wall and she just pummeled me with fire land mines. got her the second time though.

Lava spell is quite useful for getting mobs behind cover also the ring she has is decent for this part in the game it’s 10% spell power😊

Im having an extremely difficult time with spurned progeny and im guessing hes not that hard. Waiting for you to get to the boss so i can see if theres something im missing. I dont know. Ive fought him for like a half hour so far

Question, if I put stats into radiance will the sword that scales with radiance (like you are using) do just as much damage as a sword that scales with strength if you put your stats in strength? I feel like if so that would be smarter because then you can still play melee style if you want but also have radiance so you cast spells as a bonus. Does that make sense or am I wrong about how it works?

It depends on the sword. His sword ONLY scales with radiance, so if you have a sword that ONLY scales with strength, it would be the equivalent. Scaling also coincides with upgrades. You get better scaling with higher tiers (a sword with C scaling in radiance won't do as much damage as the same upgraded sword with B scaling in radiance). That being said, if you're going to use spells as a bonus to a primarily strength weapon, you'll want a sword with minor scaling in inferno or radiance which you can having trailing in levels.

How did the bottom area not fill with lava on the second phase? It did for me. Is there different ways that bosses do their fights on levels or specific attributes leveled up? I also noticed that when I was playing with my friend where a boss for him was umbral and mine was inferno. Inferno was much harder than umbral. By a long shot.

A number of NPC's won't show up in their alternate locations and I don't know what I may have done wrong? I did explore other regions and rested at the rest points but don't know if this screwed me over or not..? 3 quest NPC's are no longer appearing for me. :(

This boss gave me so much trouble. Between the camera and frame rate drops, I kept getting caught in his ground explosions in the second phase even though I was nowhere near them

That is the most tragic boss since Oceiros and Ocelotte from DS3 (it was so tragic they had to make the baby invisible but for some reason kept the crys in when you fought Oceiros whos holding the baby Ocelotte) I mean The Spurned Progeny (or, in simple terms, The Rejected Child/Offspring) So that big ass giant boss was a rejected kid. 😢

Hey Cowboy, I think you missed a ring in the area where the infernal enchantress is before the Spurned Progeny, you can walk on a sort of long balcony to the left side and there is a Ring, not sure if it is in the other walkthrough videos yet - just mentioning it! :)

Hey Cowboy, I really enjoy your 100% walkthroughs. It is not the first time I come to play with your guidance after my initial playthrough. Since this is a 100% achievements playthrough, I would love if you showed which achievements should be popped at moments? For example, reaching Skybridge, killing the Red Reaper, etc. If it is not too tough to edit those in for your future walkthroughs. P.S. I think I am subscribed since Evil Within and I remember I wished you made an Akuma difficulty walkthrough back then!

I just beat him with a strength build if you get him down far enough the lava does disappear and you can go in for your quick attacks. That took me about 45 min or so

How did this work out for you? I am considering the respec too although I managed to beat the boss. Radiance looks to have higher damage compared to my melee build.

I noticed that when I upgraded the Sang., it didn't go to 6 charges. So you know why or did I just miss something?

it only increases charges on every other upgrade. so like, first upgrade is +1 charge and +15% heal amount, the second upgrade is only +15% heal amount, then third upgrade is +2 charge and 15% heal amount and it keeps on going like that

Yeah, some of the armor and weapon drops you have to get from killing enemies. But people are saying you wind up getting a lot of it naturally when going for the multiple endings.

That build is doing chunky damage. I got a strength build I'm working on with like 46 points and strength and I'm not hitting as hard as cowboy

Me too, I am always playing strength/dexterity buils in these types of games but noticed the same as you mentioned. It must be that CB plays with a radiant kind of build, and uses a boss weapon (gained from the first boss) which gives a ton of damage. It's possible to respec if you like, I am not sure if I will do this yet. You can get the requires item at the umbral NPC at Skyrest and use it at the NPC where you upgrade your flasks (dont know the exact term lol). Currently I can't use ranged weapons (not a fan of it either) so this boss was so stupid, glad I got him out of the way melee style.

It’s the same for most walkthroughs.. ppl want to follow your walkthrough but also want to play for more than 22-30 mins a day. I know a lot goes into em, I see the prep vids. Hopefully after the Let’s Play the walkthroughs drop quicker.
