Pieta's spell does damage depending on where the enemy is. If the enemy is close to the clones, it does the AOE slam. While if they are far away, the clones do the holy laser beam. Overall, pretty amazing

I'm sure you know this @FightinCowboy, but if you one-hand (*two-hand) a single weapon, your weapon will no longer collide with walls when attacking. Helps a lot in tight areas. Even if you know that, others that read this may not.

I do appreciated this. Even though I haven't had much struggle with this game compare to the likes of Elden Ring, I am enjoying myself playing this game a lot with my best friend. I really wished that atleast, the main bosses would've been a bit more harder. But it's a fun experience overall.

You missed an item (nohuta ritual hammer) on the bridge where you fight the ruiner its hidden and you have to be in umbral. Love your walkthroughs keep up the great work.

I used Enhanced Empyrean Grenades on the Ruiner. With like 6 of them you can just destroy him without breaking a sweat 😅

You can easily soulflay the ruiner off the bridge. There are two spots on the left where you can do this. Figured this might help for some of you. 🙂

Thanks again cowboy for all your videos , I always complete the game myself and then watch your brilliant 100 % videos to see what I’ve missed and then choose the ending which your following. I am enjoying this game but I am finding it quite hard to track the levels and work out where the hell I am sometimes. The fact it might be that I need to go umbral as well I’m finding it doubly tough. This boss took me like 5 tries, a very fun fight. I also like how i started my character before i started watching. U and I took the same path in the sense that we both started wielding hammers. Found that funny

The seedling spot in Fitzroy gorge is a great spot for any magic weilder to farm up some large manastone clusters. Take out the Rhogar and 2 dogs toward the mini boss, go umbral and take out the moth with a guaranteed drop of at least one of the large manastone clusters

This walkthrough has taught me that I should trust my ability in these games more. I did my first playthrough almost completely blind, aside from looking up some items, spells, and a couple of quest lines I didn't understand at all. I totally expected I missed like 80% of the stuff in the Fen, cuz I was STRUGGLING there the first time, but apparently I got every single thing 😁 Great work as always Cowboy. I've already seen a few things I missed in earlier areas though

The bloodbane ring pairs very well with the halberd of the tree boss as it has innate poison.

If you beat the red reaper without cheese you earn an eyeball that makes the umbral zombies cower in fear. Also, you gain 25 scourings.

That's because you're doing his questline... remember to ONLY carry 4 buckets to give to him... all together, it will be 3 sets of 4 buckets...

First time doing another playthrough since launch. It’s hilarious that the devs patched in a work around for the red reaper cheese 😆 I just spent 20 min trying to cheese it before realizing it has a brand new move set for narrow spaces. It can knock you off of narrow bridges by just jabbing its blades through the portal. I got mad and just killed it legitimately lol

That sword is awesome, the span of the swing is perfect. Percival was tough for me, I didn't think to break the parasites while he was healing...Sigh. Makes sense. I ended up smashing his stance to 0 and knocking him down with a riposte.

It’s so weird - I’ve been following this path exactly but the Infernal Weapon spell randomly showed up for me this time…. my first run it wasn’t there. I have no clue how I got it but I think I’m happy I did. I just hope spawning it and picking it up doesn’t screw something else up though, lol.

For me, Percival got stuck behind the crates/barrels directly to his right (our left when walking in) when I sprinted straight for the loot down the bridge. I just poison javelined him, lol

Great cheese 🧀 option! Throw poison javelins at this boss! Just get him in poison status and then run back and forth on the bridge! Rinse and repeat! Attack the boss when you can!

On a dex build I used the poison/bleed ring, the holy/bleed sword, and poison salts on the ruiner. Absolutely smashed him. Massive dot numbers. He was taking over 50 dmg per tick

If anyone is stuck on the crimson rector guy use the forsaken grenades and stay in the poison cloud until it procs then just focus on dodging until it wears off then repeat

For anyone having problems taking out the enemy from a distance with magic @19:20, try using either poison javelin or the short javelin, hold R2 (or Right Trigger) to aim, and take him out from farther away. This way you don’t get hit while hitting him.

It is so much easier to just run up and melee him. Those enemies are made to snipe you at range.

He is also using an outdated version of that ranged spell.. he picked up 'piercing light' @10:00 (Right before the horde), but didn't put it on... It would be doing a much better job at taking stuff down the way he's been doing

hey there top guide , at 28:22 you miss a greathammer of nohuta ritual , on the right side of the bridge where its broken you can go around it and catch it from some of the ubra loot statues :)

Tip for anyone you can 1 shot Ruiner. All you have to do is throw his soul out of the map and hit his body so it follows his soul. There is a small opening on the left side of the bridge you just need to time it right. I noticed that open space and gave it a try and lets just say it was amusingly funny one shotting that sucker 😂

Hi Cowboy, if I'm not mistaken I think you missed an item on the bridge where you fought ruiner. It's in umbral close to the opposite side of where you drop down, you need to soulflay to get it. Keep up the great walkthrough, been loving it so far!

Poison mist is great for the ruiner then the holy parchment throwable . You can kill him without even using you weapon

So in most souls games I do a blind playthrough and then follow your walkthroughs but I just couldn’t do this game solo. The map progression just feels so disjointed and unintuitive. Then throw in the lamp sections to make it extra annoying lol but cowboys always got my back

my problem with this crimson dude is his healing. Even after you destroy all the umbral thingies, he still heals. And in the patch he's a lot tougher. Fuck Edit: ok so the trick is to only pop those umbral thing when he goes into his holy mode, and only pop the one closet to him and it will take him out of his holy mode. Also, i had to switch to a shield in one hand for parrying. His moves are well telegraphed so you can easily parry him. That's how i beat him. Damn. Fun fight!

Bloodlust and Justice (a sword you find earlier) are both from the first game. If I remember correctly Bloodlust got stronger as you killed enemies. I wonder if there is a similar effect in this game.

Far as ive heard soft caps for life and stam are 20, 40, 60 Other main stats are 30, 50, 75 No idea about luck
