Lords of the Realms 2 is a strategy game from 1996, developed by Impressions Games and published by Sierra. It combines turn-based economics with real-time battles.
Goal of the game is to conquer every map by defeating all enemies. The main campaign consists of 8 levels.
You can choose to control the battles or let the computer calculate them. Most times I let the computer decide, except for sieges because here it doesn´t work that well.
One of my favorite games set in the medieval ages. However it still has some bugs and balancings problems. Archers are cheap to produce and ways overpowered so I didn´t see much reasons to rely on other units, so most battles are easy to win. Still, a classic I like to play.
Recording this game is very difficult because no capture software recognises it, so this was recorded via HDMI capture card.
The original games resolution is 640x480. It was recorded in 1280x720, I edited it with Sony Vegas to get rid of the black bars because of the original aspect ration is 4:3, so now 960x720 for better viewing.

First: Don´t ask for support how to run this game here. GOG and Steam should work. If not, well, these platforms have their own support.
Then: People complained because I did autocalc for most battles. It doesn´t change much of the outcome except for sieges where the player usually loses.
If I had fought every battle then the video would be twice as long at least.
So, nobody stops you from doing your own recording of the game if you think you can do it better.
