Her implementation in Total War: Warhammer II was awesome. They implemented the bit about her getting stronger the more hurt she is, and they gave a neat explanation for her being able to field asrai on her army. Coeddil is also fantastic, so strong.

You know i'm really starting to question why the Bretonia's stays allied to the Wood Elves. you would think that after Drycha's attack the king would send a mesenger or something to ask the Wood Elves ''WTF guys?, i thought we were cool?'' and the Elves would figure something is very wrong, or in typical warhammer fashion not give a damn. Especially with the Wild Hunt thing why are the Bretonians and the Lady ok with the fact that Orion and his followers are going around killing people(yes i know the reason why it happens, but it stil doesn't make it a thing that should be accepted by the Brets.) Wouldn't it be cooler if during each Wild Hunt, the Lady of the Lake commands the Green Knight along with a bunch of Grail Knights or a new special type of unit who are like the Green Knight but a bit weaker, to persue the Wild Hunt to stop them or something. I mean how cool would it be to have Orion and the Green Knight dueling each other while around them their followers battle but constantly find themselves equally matched.

Just a question here: Did the Woodelves try to counter the effects of the corruption on the forest? As they do have some very potent magic-users,I'm surprised they couldn't do something to counter it's effects. Also would it be possible to see Drycha in Universal Battle in a future battle maybe?

Drycha could be good for quests and a reason for Welves to leave Athel Loren, it would need her to show a little love to the Asrai but for game play I am sure most would be OK with that.

Fantastic video! I must say I really liked the Lore for this character. The Wood Elves Lore in general was surprisingly excellent. Personally, I think you did a fine job with the extra fluff. It sounded awesome, and faithful to the source material. Good stuff. You've even improved a lot as a speaker too. I really only have one gripe. You use the term "contemptuous ease" way too often. Repetition is understandable, but that term is too specific to not get on my nerves. It didn't really even apply here. Contemptuous ease implies it required little to no effort. Makes sense for someone like Manfred, but Drycha strikes me more as a 'no kill like overkill' type. A very minor criticism to be sure, but that just means I didn't have anything else to criticize. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MAN! I absolutely love your videos!

The Wood Elves could sure use some extra Legendary Lords. They only have two of them and each one is essentially a melee monster. Ariel or this one would give them some more variety.

One thing, I thought the winds of magic only entered the world with Chaos, and blow down from the polar warp gates? Because you mentioned how the dryads would channel the winds to grow the forest before you got to the incursion of Chaos?

I have a question regarding a thought of which Legendary Lord we might see for the Wood elves in Total War Warhammer. :D Do you think they might add the main faction leaders ? Like Orion or Ariel? Or even Durthu? Not sure if i got the names right though, but do you think they will have to focus more on the tree elders and the Wood Elves faction leaders rather then maybe adding a Lord like Drycha? Also to mention I was really surprised when they added a character such as massive Suneater for chaos, because he doesn't get that much of a flavor/story, although he himself is just sooo coool! And i can't wait to see his playthrough/gameplay! :D I was also somewhat surprised when they took the orc prophet instead of the Night Goblin warlord "no clue what the shamen's name is nor the Goblin" :P But it felt weird since the Goblin fellow had more cunning and also was a caster? So the orc's could have a Goblin Legendary Lord instead of the shaman. Thank you for the Vids! Always fantastic to hear you talk about the lore of faction I really never had any care for nor knew so much about, I collected Chaos from 6th edition to late 7th edition and I love the deep explanations/knowledge of the lore you provide :)

GW did such a piss-poor job of implementing the Wood Elves in the lore. They could have had them living in forests all over the world but instead they have them sitting in this one little forest in one tiny corner of the world.

Anyone here after the WH2 Woodelf DLC announcement? I was not conviced at all when I heard about her, but now I would like the idea. Could look a bit like Skarsnik, big cost penalty from elves until she recapture her home turf. She would also probably not have many allies, making it a real challenging campaign!
