Rebecca wasn't lip-syncing. She sang the song herself when she was shooting the scene, but her voice was dubbed by Loren in the end.

I think we are just...victims of technology. In this post the key is much low , no traces of soprano , etc. I checked also the other versions , recommended by people below , from Voice of...or Idol of....none is sounding like the movie track by a far distance. In the movie is just amazing. But I guess is studio processed.

The director originally wanted the actor to play Jenny and Loren didn’t want to act. They took voice lessons with each other and learned how to sing with each other so they could get everything perfect for the movie (I read this a few months ago).

Tan actually on the extended cut version Rebecca was supposed to do it but then she heard Loren’s version and decided she couldn’t do it justice so she lip synced to get the full effect.

The fact that this woman isn’t huge in the music industry is just mind boggling, especially given that there are some who are who don’t have half the voice-the control, the power, the range, and the perfect pitch-that she does. And it’s not like she doesn’t have the beauty either (which shouldn’t really matter if you’re awesomely talented, but does). And she’s got the stage presence and just the right amount of sass (from clip of The Voice I saw). I just don’t get it. There must be a lot of really boneheaded music producers if none of the big ones have snatched her up after her appearance on The Voice and made her as big as Celine Dion (who’s level she could definitely be on). Hopefully, her singing part in The Greatest Showman will change that. This girl deserves to be a massive star because she is a massive talent. She’s got one of the most incredible voices I’ve ever heard. A true powerhouse.

If she sang this when Whitney Huston's time she would be huge but the music industry want something new. Just watch the FOUR. They want something fresh and new. HOW YADOIN THIS song was the ENTIRE point of the story: THIS moment MADE the greatest showman a complete plot. Her voice did EVERYTHING for this moment: when you break it down there is NO greatest showman without this sequence. She rightfully EARNED her success and subsequent career but she doesn't seem to have the promoters pushing her out there. Hands down THIS is the BEST song of the entire production. Jackman, Zendaya, Ephron, and the bearded lady were outshined by THIS vocally, as good as they are.
