Now that we've had Lorenzo on here, we need to get Branscombe Richmond on here to tell us all about Seagal, Arnold, James Bond, Showdown in Little Tokyo, Jeff Speakman, Chuck Norris, Raven, Renegade, etc. The guy has had a crazy career and worked with almost everyone. He's gotta be a goldmine of information on action's golden age.

I would love to see Lorenzo Lamas in a triumphant comeback role. Something he can really sink his teeth into dramatically, but also bonus points if he can be badass at the same time, because he just has that natural badass air about him. And he still looks great. I could see him doing something really special if the project was right. I could see him in a kind of "aging gunslinger's last stand" kind of role. Not even necessarily a western, just that kind of tragic story about a strong, noble, upstanding man who had his time but has "put his guns away," but, through circumstances beyond his control, is forced to stand one last time. And it wouldn't even have to be action-packed. It could be something like Eastwood's "Gran Torino," where he makes a moral stand when no one else will.

That was such great wisdom parted by Mr.Lamas. Dude's got a good heart. Despite being a kid growing up in the late 80's & early 90's, it's a shame i never come across nor even heard of Lorenzo Lamas. Maybe i've heard of his name here & there but it probably got sunken by other big action stars at the time such JCVD, Arnold, Sly etc. I literally just discovered him at the beginning of this year. & right now i'm enjoying every bit of Renegade that's free for all of us to see & appreciate here on KZfaq. Thanks David for bringing this exclusive interview for us, i enjoyed it immensely. Hopefully this won't be the last. Would love to see u guys collab on something in the future. God Bless!

I'm discovering Renegade on GetTV, and I learned here that Lorenzo was married to Kathleen Kinmont. I'm into season 2 with the other night owls who won't miss Renegade, and in season one, there's a shot where I thought "Find someone who looks at you the way Chey looks at Reno." Just total adoration and love. Now it makes even more sense that it wasn't just great acting on her part, but they were mates. The other observation for me is I love Steven J. CannelL shows like "Hunter" and others, and his Shane Scully novels. Yet, every time Cannell appears as Dutch in Renegade, I hate his guts. So, apparently he was a great actor, too!

I always wondered why Reno Rains did't go all guns blazing after Dutch Dixen after it was cleared after some episodes that he ruined his life . Law or no law my basic instinct would have been to pay Dutch 10 folds what he gave Reno. Yet he chose to be a man of principles. Fact or fiction it inspired me a lot in real life not to hit back in the same coin and ruin your life in the process. I own it to you Reno Rains aka Lorenzo Lamas and writer Stephen J. Cannell . The wisdom and life advice that you gave Lorenzo meant a lot to me. Earlier i loved and admired you brother now the respect for you has increased many folds. You are a very cool down to earth guy. Each time i watch you in Renegade i rediscover new and wonderful aspects. Recently found out that in episode Second Chance the guy played Lou Delgado was actually Spyros Pappadimos from The Guns of Navarone WOW . Wish he knew he has a die hard fan in India.

What would Reno do? Isn't that a great question for all of us in difficult times? One thing that comes to my mind is that this long-haired bike riding 90s Renegade would not give a damn what people post about him and his looks on social media! - That's just one example for the mindset we can learn from this character: find out what you want in live and what your values are and live by those values - as long as you don't hurt other people, which is something Van Damme always makes sure to add to the "go your own way" - discussion. We need these types of characters back on the TV screen today! Television is really screwing up with it's responsibility there and they de- stroy their own credibility and legacy with all the meaningless entertain- ment.

Somehow I have not seen Night of the warrior(unless I saw it as a tean) so I just picked that up on eBay for 12 bucks. It looks really good with a great villain. Now, I can't find The Rage anywhere for less than $35. Hey Lorenzo maybe you can see if MVD or Vinegar Syndrome will put out some of your older movies on Blu-ray in the US? thank God I was able to find the rage on KZfaq so I'm going to try to watch it later. I'm a big fan but you kind of lose track of people but with the internet you can discover some action Gems, especially when they don't make good action MA movies anymore!
