@@mrHoppedupfordWELL !! I as far as Loretta is concerned , she is real country and also Crystal Gayle , I didnt hardly any of the others !! When you get too far away from Meryl , George, Patsy Cline and so many of the ones who made the Grand Ole Opry and Nashville what it is !! It makes me sad not to hear the twin fiddles and steel guitars and the real back up singers that makes you feel like they were singing to you personally .. this new country is not country at all!! It is boring , it is more or less karaoke computerized music , or canned music !! I would not give 50 cents to see a show like that!! I grew up playing country music when everything was live. We had the steel, the piano drums ,bass two girl singers and two guy singer, no fake stuff , and we opened up shows for many of the old legends,THAT WAS WHEN COUNTRY WAS FUN !! And everyone was as friendly as your next door neighbor . It has got to modern to be called country . .

While they certainly are sisters, Crystal Gayle (Brenda Webb) did not grow up in Eastern KY. She didn't experience the coal mining culture like the older children did. She doesn't have the memories and she doesn't know the hard living that Loretta knew. Crystal Gayle grew up in Indiana. Ted and Clara Webb moved their family to Wabash, Indiana to find work in the factories when Crystal Gayle was a baby. A reporter asked Crystal Gayle once if she too was a "coal Miner's Daughter" and she answered "no".

Their sister Peggy Sue (Webb) Wright, also a country music singer, is up there, too. She's the lead when they escort Loretta off stage. By the way, judging by how Loretta's facial expressions were, she seemed to want to say thank you and goodnight to the audience a little longer and that woman in the blue dress was rushing her to leave the stage. That may not be the case, but looked it to me!

So good to see the greatest female country singer ever still able to get on stage though with some difficulty. At the same time it brings tears to my eyes to see the evidence of age as, as a fan I have adored this woman my entire life. There will never be another like her, long live the queen. My hearts with you Loretta
