Yes she is and always will be. She passed today, but people are never going to forget her. Her songwriting was such a talent...many singers have to rely on the writing of others. She did that at times but also had that unique writing talent, like Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, and others. Her family is one that her fans have kind of gotten to know...they know the names of her children, they know who her siblings are, etc. They are down home folks! Strength, comfort and positive thoughts for the family in the difficult days and months ahead. ❤❤❤❤

How in the world could 62 people dislike her? She is such a sweet and humble wonderful lady. I just love watching her because no matter how successful she's been she never has lost sight of love for her family and never has forgotten where she came from and her humble beginning!! Not too many people get fame and fortune and can stay true to her soul like Loretta Lynn has!! I love you Loretta! I've been a fan since crawlin around in diapers 33 yrs ago when mommy and daddy would put on them old records! I love all that good times ole country music. My kids think I'm crazy, and I just tell'em this is our culture and you should be proud to be hillbilly strong!!

Yeah, this woman has so much charm and so much talent and has such a beautiful personality. Those 62 people don't know what they're missing. Her songs are catchy and her voice is absolutely fabulous! I love her so much.

When Loretta talks you know you are going to hear the truth. She said we were poor, but we didn t know how poor we were. You don t know until you go to bed hungry. Everyone who listens to country music loves Loretta because she was so honest and wrote songs about her life. Songs from her heart. Songs that others were afraid to write or sing about. All she has ever known was working hard to take care of her family but she loves it and loves her fans. You are one sweet beautiful lady Loretta and we love you so much. She will always be the Coal Miner's Daughter and the gueen of country. May God Bless You with many more years of feeling good.

The first time I saw Loretta in concert I was almost 9 months pregnant and thought I was going in labor during the concert. I didn't tell my mother because I was afraid she would make us leave! Thankfully my daughter wasn't born that night but she was born the next week on Loretta's birthday!

Always thought she was the BEST country; and, there were and still are, some good ones out there. LOVE HER tunes and lyrics! She is a great asset to America! Loved that movie w Sissy S. What a life. It’s so good for kids 2day to see somewhat of the way things were then. I remember motels then weren’t of the standards hotels are now! Bologna sandwiches!🙄.

Loretta is a legend. Not only by her talent alone, but she has survived almost every imaginable tragedy. Married young, poverty, heart break, death of parents, husband and children etc. She will always be my favorite female artist.

True to her roots. Being famous never changed this awesome lady. Such class coming from poor to rich. Had all the fame anyone could ever want. But yet never had a bad word about anyone. I was lucky to see her perform live once. Saw her tour bus. She would stop and say thank you to everyone waiting in line . Such an awesome voice and to this day is true to her roots saying she really believes she isn't special. SHE IS EVERY ONES IDOL.

I'm on KZfaq, searching and searching for all the Loretta Lynn tributes that there should be, and where are they? I don't understand it. Loretta Lynn was so important in Country Music, such a national treasure. Where are the hour long retrospective, accolades, and tributes? Where? They're not on TV. They're not on KZfaq. Loretta Lynn was, clearly, beloved. I don't understand this.

She always knows where she came from and who she is. she’s a humble lady that has Love and Respect from her family to her fans. Her music always tells a story. I'm only 25. And I know young. But wvertime I hear her voice I get chilled all over. Her voice is so beautiful and flawless. I cant get enough of it. She wrote and recorded her own songs. And had number 1 hits.from the songs. Truely an incredibly amazing woman. She was trailblazer. And has paved the way for so many great woman of country music. I wish country would get back to its roots. And I wish there would be more woman like her. And men like her as well. If you wanna know how to get back to what the heart of country music is jua listen to her. Johnny cash Merle's haggard. George jones. Tammy wynette. Hank William's patsy Cline. Bill monroe.
